   Great day - the restaurant was buzzing and loud but a great energy throughout and the food and service were superb!

   This was our second time dining since the expansion/remodel and it was excellent! We love the menu and ambiance. We drive over an hour away to dine here so that speaks to how good it is!

   Disappointing experience. Service was very good. Food was very mediocre for the price. Birthday dinner and this was “birthday girl” choice. Check arrived and at the bottom was the surprise “Non-Gratuity Service Fee (2.5%)”. And to add insult to injury it was before tax. Questioned the server who went and checked, then told us it was for the shuttle that runs people around the island. When we asked for the manager he said it was for the landscaping and to help pay the kitchen staff. We said that’s an owner problem, not a patron problem. After some discussion the manager agreed to remove it. I’m a local, that’s unfortunate to target visitors. Won’t be back as long as they do business like that.

The intention behind this small charge is to support the many behind-the-scenes efforts that keep our property running smoothly, from transportation and groundskeeping to supporting our hardworking kitchen team. That said, we never want any guest to feel surprised or misled, and we’ll be revisiting how we communicate this more clearly moving forward. As a local, your opinion means a great deal to us, and we’re sorry to hear we fell short. We hope there’s an opportunity in the future to regain your trust and provide the experience you expected and deserve.

    The food was very good. The pita chips with the crab dip were a little over cooked. Drinks and service were excellent. We will definitely dine there again.
