   Deviled eggs were good, but the rest of the meal was not very good. Unfortunately, the pulled pork sandwich was so greasy the bottom bun disintegrated. Live music started at 5PM which is enjoyable and worthwhile.

   It was our first time eating at the Opry Backstage Grill, and I'm sure not the last. We had an early reservation which made the restaurant less crowded, but as we sat there over for 1 1/2 hrs a fair amount of people began strolling in. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. We started with a couple of margaritas, but their base syrup was way too sweet. We then ordered a bottle of red wine picking from 3: Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, and Merlot. Our waitress allowed us to sample all 3. The Merlot is what we chose. My wife ordered a garden salad and the salmon entree', while I ordered the wedge salad and chicken finger dinner. With some time passing I should have inquired, but our salads and dinners came out at the same time. However, we were not disappointed as the food was tasty, but we would have preferred our salads first. I noticed another patron ordered a plate of chicken wings which looked mighty tasty, which is what I plan to order the next time we go there, and also the pecan pie and/or Dolly Parton's banana pudding. At the time there was no live entertainment, but they have past performances at the Opry being played on 3 large screens. I asked our waitress if she performed any on the stage, which she doesn't, but she did get one of her co-workers to sing and play guitar for 2 songs. So, we did get some live entertainment, which was nice. Overall we had a fun time and a good dinner. I did read a few "not so favorable" reviews in the past, which some may be legitimate?? But, I've also learned that there are some people that not even Jesus could please! Thus, I would recommend the Opry Backstage Grill to anyone. It was very convenient too, as we were attending a concert at the Opry House.

   Service was fair at best. The woman host was rude and the server inattentive at best. The food made me nauseated.

   The loaded tater tots were delicious, but everything else lacked in flavor and seasoning or had a burnt charred flavor

   Jonathan was a fantastic server. He paid attention to details like supplying silverware and refilling drinks. And all with a grin! The food was fresh and tasty. The hostess was very busy but never appeared to break a sweat, greeting everyone with friendliness and grace. The bartender even put on a show! Would definitely go again when in area.

   They are still serving a limited menu from Covid. We made reservations online and looked at the menu on their website which listed selections for everyone. We were disappointed when we saw the scales back menu. Most of the limited menu is bar-b-que, which was just average. They need to update things online to reflect the changes. Overall, food and service were average but not worthy of a repeat visit.
