   Made reservations for lunch here weeks ago only to show up and there be a handwritten sign on the door saying that they weren't open. We're from out of town (actually, out if state) and there wasn't anything else open on Sunday in Independence so we had to drive 20 minutes to find something else to eat. If you're not going to be open, perhaps have the decency to call the people who made reservations with you so that they don't waste their time and gas only to be disappointed and hungry.

   This was our first time dining at Ophelia’s, and we will definitely be back. The menu was wonderful, many great selections. Our Server, Haley, was amazing! Very patient, attentive, and offered great advice for food selections. There was a woman playing the piano, and she played and sang beautifully, but at a volume that did not disturb our conversation. The ambience was perfect for a date night!

   Awesome experience. Jayden, our server was wonderful as was the salmon and lamb chops she recommended. Surpassed our “fine dining”’experiences in Kansas City. Would highly recommend.

   Went there for brunch. The menu didn't have a lot of options. However, everything we ordered was absolutely delicious! Including one of the best expresso martinis ever!!! And our server was awesome!

   Great service , food was okay but I miss the true Sunday brunch Buffett they used to serve. Very limited menu .

   We had corn fritters for an appetizer, oh my word they were delicious! My husband had fish and chips, I had the half-cut filet with mashed potatoes and broccolini. It was so amazingly delicious! There was a man playing music while we were there. I was concerned it would be too loud for conversation but it we were able to sit a few tables away and it was perfect! For dessert we ordered the lemon with French meringue. Again, superb and divine. This is a lovely gem in Independence, Mo!

    Always a great meal. I had the Berkshire Chop and it was devine, especially with the fried red potatos and my favorite Brussel's sprouts. It was enough for 2 meals which is always nice on leftovers day.
