Onieal's offers casually elegant American cuisine with Italian and Asian influences from neighborhoods we are at the vortex of, Little Italy and Chinatown, Time Out once voted us the "Best Restaurant in Little Italy". We have been a leader since 1995 in the "Rebirth of the Cocktail" movement with our unique cocktails and our precision in making the classics.
New York Magazine, "trendy but not aggressive bar scene". The perfect meeting place for lunch, after work drinks and dinner or fun late-night on the weekends. Set in a neighborhood that for more than a hundred years was the knife’s edge of wealth, corruption, poverty and crime.
Onieal's today is a refined, hip restaurant with a long history as well as being the "Sex and the City" Scout Bar, owned by characters Steve and Aidan in the show.

    I met my husband for the first time at Oneals and we come back every year same day for our anniversary! They usually give us free tequila shots to celebrate!! I totally recommend the chicken parmesan!

    My boyfriend and I decided to get V day dinner at O’nieals. It’s where we first said “I love you” to each other. We’ve had the same waitress every time and she’s lovely and gave us some chocolate dipped strawberries at the end. We both got the hammered chicken, it’s our favorite dish. Made for a beautiful Valentines Day!

    A most enjoyable evening and dinner at Onieals! Loved our reserved table by the front windows over in the corner on the banquette. Gettysburg & Hanover PA family members met for dinner with Brooklyn family, a memorable time shared over delicious pretzel appetizers, 5 different hamburger orders, and penne vodka. And shared blueberry cobbler w vanilla ice cream. Splendid!! It was noisy, but that fun noisy of people getting together. Wait staff most attentive on all levels. Thank you!

    Fantastic little spot, great drinks, great service, and I loved the atmosphere. My only complaint was I ordered a burger and it came on an English muffin. It was the most disappointing burger I have ever eaten, it took maybe 3 bites to finish. It looked more like a frozen breakfast sandwich, it was thin, small, and unsatisfying. Long story short, highly recommend this place but steer clear of the burgers.

    Chris Onieal does a spectacular job with this place. It’s fun, attractive, the food is quite good and reasonably priced. Terrific service and a lively, hip crowd. He has no pretensions about his menu, yet he stays with the times and certainly delivers high quality. It’s what everyone should want in a tavern style restaurant.

    We had some wonderfull Cosmopolitan Cocktails. It is a cozy atmosphere, Easy going.
