Time Out - LoveLondon Award Winner - On The Hoof Bistro offers a great space for a range of European meals in the heart of Sydenham high street, just 2 minutes form the station. Enjoy our excellent coffee complimented by quality English breakfast or cheese and bacon oatcakes. We use the best quality bacon and have our signature sausages made by local butchers. Brunch could be eggs benedict, or a slice of homemade cake. Use our Wifi and refresh and sharpen your mind with a freshly squeezed orange juice with a hint of ginger. This 2 year old 40 seat restaurant designed with a chic character. Lunch specials are available all week. A fine wine list is available for special occasions with vintage grand crus and the best that the new world has to offer.

Second visit and wasn't disappointed. Very nice food and an interesting menu which made it hard to choose what to have. Would return.

The chef evidently has a sweet tooth. Everything, including the main courses, was very sweet (too sweet). A real shame.

Excellent service, attentive but unobtrusive. Great menu that changes often enough and good food at a reasonable price can certainly recommend for everyday dinning.

It was our first time and it won't be our last. All four of us thoroughly enjoyed all 3 courses and several bottles of the Zinfandel. There was a good choice for all courses and we loved the sharing dessert plate.

We went to have a birthday dinner with some friends. The food was amazing and the service was perfect. They even helped with a surprise cake we brought in even tho they sell cakes. They even cut it for us. I will recommend On The Hoof to anyone who wants to have a beautiful experience and enjoy great food. And I'll be surely returning!
