   I had the best food at the restaurant than I had in a whole week in Islamorado BUT our waiter was rude (tall blonde man with a pony tail) and they sat us in an area that was the lobby of the hotel not a table in the restaurant section. I would go back for the food if I could be sure not to get the same waiter and that I had a reservation in the dining area. Fab food. Amazing meatball appetiser and terrific pasta dishes.

   The food was a complete and total disappointment. I do not recommend this restaurant at all.

   Wow what a fabulous restaurant to find on The Keys (Islamorada). The setting, decor, ambience, service and food was great. For New Year's Eve they offered both a la carte and three choices of 'set menu'. I chose the Extravaganza which for $58 including a glass of Prosecco, was fantastic value. If you're looking for a smart/casual restaurant where you can dress up and not feel out of place then this is a perfect find. Loved it.

   The menu was misleading. Ordered the pasta with Parmesan tomato broth and when our dish came out there was no tomato. When asking the server they said "there was tomato when it cooks it turns white." Would never go back again

   You're basically eating in a glorified lobby. Service was slow and inattentive. No music. They forgot the kids' food and it wasn't served until the adults were served. Food was pretty unremarkable and overpriced. We never mind paying for good food (we are from NYC). But we had a better meal for a third of the price at a local fish shack last night. We ventured up from Marathon because of great reviews but it was not at all worth it. We will not be returning and do not recommend eating here.

   Totaler Reinfall. Sollte ein festliches, weihnachtliches Abendessen mit meinem Mann werden. Doch die Atmosphäre im "Restaurant" war unzumutbar. Ein Kinderspielplatz, ungewöhnlich laut, schreckliche Beleuchtung etc. etc.! Im Prinzip ist es der Essbereich der Resortgäste. Familien mit vielen kleinen Kindern. Aber auch der Öffentlichkeit zugänglich....ich bin durch die Webseite hereingefallen. Doch ich denke, man kann diesen Ort nicht ein Restaurant nennen. Service VÖLLIG Überfordert. Auch nicht wirklich freundlich und sehr langsam und vergesslich. Der Caprese Salad war sehr gut. Der Hauptgang nicht erwähnenswert. Einige Vorspeisen schon um 19:00 Uhr nicht mehr verfügbar. Speisekarte dürftig. Ersparen Sie sich diese Erfahrung. Wirklich!

   The food was spectacular. The restaurant is basically located in the lobby of the Amara Cay Hotel, so it is not unlikely that people walking to and from the pool (which is a beautiful pool!) will walk by your table. The service was lacking, which I think is a lack of management at the restaurant. For example, the woman who seated us failed to leave the wine and cocktail menus, the server never took away the preset wine glasses, the entrees arrived just a few minutes after our salads, bread was delivered 10 minutes after the entrees arrived, and the server was slow in clearing the table. All of this with only three tables occupied. The food was very good, I'm sure in time the service will catch up to make this a great dining experience.

   Tasty meal and good service but the place was dead. We were one of only 2 tables. Made it kind of boring. Maybe the word will get out.

   Was somewhat disappointed. Prices were a bit much for amount and quality of food. When booking, was made to feel like this was a difficult place to get a reservation and few tables remained. We were only 2 in there and no one came in during our meal. 100 dollars no beverages, alcohol, appetizers or desserts. No soup or salad included. No veggie with one meal.
