I love Olive Garden, but this was the worst dining experience of my life. Our waitresses were nice, but the lunch took over two hours and the management was horrible. The unexpected two-hour lunch made us all late in returning to work. We had a party of eight, but we also had two servers paired to us. The salad, breadsticks, and salad didn't arrive at the table until at least a half hour in. The four of us who did order entrees in addition to the salad and breadsticks had to wait over an hour! By the time they finally arrived, we had to immediately ask for boxes. We couldn't even enjoy our meal because it took so long to arrive. When we asked to speak to the manager, she said okay and offered us dessert. A dessert that would have to be ordered and brought to the table, thus taking MORE time that we did not have. We declined the free desserts because we didn't have enough time to eat our meals, let alone a dessert that would have to be ordered and brought to the table. The manager offered no apologies and no genuine interest in righting the wrong. We just asked the manager for our checks so we could be on our way. After she left our table, they never returned to the table!! The manager and waitresses kept walking by us, serving other tables, and ignored us entirely. After a half hour of impatiently awaiting our checks from the time we spoke with the manager, we were DONE and decided to walk to the lobby/ checkout to get ANY one to check us out. Upon checkout, the manager did give us a 10% discount, but once again… zero apologies. We went there to rejoice a colleague, but our horrible dining experience will forever overshadow what was supposed to be a happy, celebratory lunch.
