With an a la carte menu, bar menu and in the summer months a BBQ menu in the lovely comfortable garden, you are never short of fine foods to accompany your beers, wines and cocktails.
We also have a function room available for private hire and private dining.

The service and the ambiance of the restaurant was very great, the food quality could be better regarding to the prices.

Staff were rude and we had to ask to see menus with no one coming to take our orders. Food is quite expensive and service took 20 minutes for a drink. Pub is beautiful but atmosphere wasn’t.

After booking I received a surprise call asking for a deposit which turned out to be non-refundable and despite only one person not making the booking we lost that deposit too. We were sat next to the open kitchen with constant deep fat frying smells which with a hangover stopped me eating my afternoon tea until they closed the kitchen, I had to take it home. They tried to take dietary requirements at booking but failed to meet half of them. It is a nice pub so we had a nice time but I don't think I'd have the afternoon tea again or want to sit in the restaurant. This is the second time I've been disappointed with afternoon tea there and several years apart. Scones were also shop bought and the cream had separated.

5 of us booked for Sunday Roast, And we all thoroughly enjoyed It. Beautifully served and delicious to match. We all remarked on how this was one of the best roasts we’ve been out to. Everytime we eat here the food is always spot on, thank you.
