I discovered Olazzo during one my "gotta try a new restaurant" searches. The menu looked tasty and it's not too far from my home so I decided to give it try. The place is small so there was a wait to get in, but once we were seated service was prompt and friendly. Now to the most important part... the food! The calamari was fresh and most importantly, did not include those tentacle things I hate! My husband ordered the chicken parm and I ordered the crab and shrimp rose pasta dish. Both dishes were delicious! We will definitely be back... I have to try the mushroom & gnocchi dish!

Came here for a spousal birthday on a Friday night. Reservation was key, even for an early seating like ours. Small dining area felt cozy as opposed to cramped, thanks to high ceiling and low lighting. Prices were reasonable, portions generous. Server was competent and attentive. Small table was cleared quickly and unobtrusively between courses. Food itself was edible. DH's crab cake, while majority-crab, was a bit too wet, verging on slimy. The frutti di mare was overdone, although that might've been less noticeable with a marinara as opposed to the white wine reduction I had. We did enjoy the pleasingly-crispy calamari appetizer. We were full by the end and didn't have room for a dessert. Not wanting to end the night but not needing a table, we adjourned to the bar and had cocktails. DH's brandy was given in a rocks glass... he needed to ask for a snifter from the bartender who confessed he was new. The bar ambiance would've been nicer without a bank of TVs glaring down, but everyone seems to need to stare at a screen 24/7 these days. Overall, we had a great night together, the food and drink while not extraordinary was plentiful, and the atmosphere was lively yet pleasant.

Earlier this week, my wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary at Orlazzo. The service and ambiance were very good, and the food and drinks were great! The specialty martini that I ordered was delicious, and the Lasagna that I ordered was some of the best that I've ever had!

We go here often, definitely the best Italian food in Silver Spring. This past visit was on Valentine's Day and luckily I made a reservation far in advance because it was packed. Regardless, the service was fast and friendly and the food was great as always.

Service was outstanding. Calamari starter is the best in the area. Our sausage/peppers over penne and shrimp/crab pasta were very well done and presented. Wish we could have eaten more dishes.

I had a lovely meal here. The service was great - the food came out quickly if you were really hungry! The portions were large and very reasonable. The fresh bread that started the meal was warm and perfect - crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. I had the pasta and meatballs (two large meatballs) and my boyfriend had the lasagna. We were both too stuffed for dessert. Great experience and we'll be back.

The menu isn't vegan, but you are able to adapt their entrees to fit with a vegan diet. I loved the bread and the atmosphere! Very cozy local restaurant!

Food was amazing! Honestly some of the best food I have had in a while! Absolutely amazing! It was a bit crowded and we were kinda in the back where the kitchen was so environment was that great. Our waiter was on top of serving us so overall I had an awesome experience!
