   It was our anniversary. I specifically requested a table by the window. No friendly welcome. No acknowledgement of our anniversary. Instead we were told we have to leave the table within 1.5 hours. Never ever been told that one has to leave within a timeframe. It’s not we are a large party Got a small table for 2. We asked for a bigger table. Denied. 10 minutes later several couples were seated by the window in the larger tables. It took 35 minutes to get our food. Sushi ?? Those seated 20 mins after us got their food. We sat under the air vent and it was miserable freaking cold. It was turned off for 5 minutes. Thank goodness I brought a sweater !! Very disappointed after i bragged to my husband to try this place instead of our regular sushi place. What a miserable dinner time. Cold. Waited for good. Terrible edamame… how can one screw that up? Don’t get the spicy one.

   Great sushi spot! The m&m roll and the 44 roll are great. Highly recommend going but I’d skip the lychee martini as it was not very good.

   I always have a great dining experience at Oishii. Tribecs Roll and Salmon Carpaccio are always a staple for me. However, I usually order a pot of green tea with my meal and they were out this time which was slightly confusing to me.

   I love Oishii and go often, but the past few times I have been, especially last night, the hosts/hostesses have been quite rude. Even other people that were checking in said the same thing. Additionally, when we arrived they told us we only had an hour and 15 minutes to eat, even though there was no notification of the policy when I made the reservation.

   Food and service was great. Upon entrance though, the hostess was not as great. I walked in and was told the wait was 45 mins. I booked through OpenTable and was given a reservation of less than 5 mins. The hostess then proceeded to explain that my time would be limited even though I had a reservation. That made no sense.

    The place is so loud that it’s unpleasant. So difficult to hear the people who you are having dinner with the food is very good as always.
