Ognisko restaurant on Exhibition Road in the heart of South Kensington, is just a stone’s throw away from the Natural History Museum, Science Museum, Royal Albert Hall and London Imperial College. Housed in the beautiful Victorian home of Ognisko Polskie club the restaurant is focusing on the cuisines eastern and Central Europe. The bar is open all day serving light dishes as well as mouthwatering desserts. Ognisko’s bar serves a wide range of fruit and spice -infused vodkas, classic cocktails and a small range boutique beers from regional Polish breweries. The restaurant can sit up to 80 guests together with a terrace overlooking communal gardens seating up to 40. There is also a large events space on the first floor available for daytime conferences, weddings and corporate events.

    Friendly service, delicious Polish and Eastern European food. Seasonal menu, beautiful decor, interesting patrons, full of history and a perfect selection of ice cold vodka’s. Can’t ask for more, highly recommend. Łukasz behind the bar knows how to make a drink!

    Loved everything about this place! The service was super friendly and helpful—staff were happy to guide us through the menu. We shared a few classic dishes, and the duck and cranberry pierogi plus the żurek soup were absolutely delicious. Tried some of their homemade vodkas too, and they even gave us a round on the house when they heard we were celebrating. The building is beautiful and full of history (even the Queen ate there once!). Can’t wait to go back.
