   Everything was wonderful, but what really stood out was our server Joe - he used to be a bartender @Michael’s on East & it was so nice to see him again. He really made my mother feel special for her 80th birthday too !! Ocean Prime is such a sweet spot bc The Ritz is lacking something and the new St Regis is a trek for us downtowners so we really needed a top notch place in town & this is it ! Prices are high but not outrageous — comparable to Harry’s or Selva $$ but much much better atmosphere & food — worth every penny !!

   Great food Staff is a little overworked! When splitting salad staff should split in kitchen. In addition they should provide napkin placemats on bare tables for the preparation of service

   Unfortunately, first time to Ocean Prime Sarasota and our party of 6 was not impressed. Service was mediocre, food quality did not correlate to the exorbitant cost for items elsewhere that would be 40% less. In other words, overpriced. Salads were presented to the wrong individuals, house salad looked more like grocery story-bagged salad, steak food entrees were presented to the wrong individuals, meat choice for another was undercooked. Service by the waiter was average for another type of restaurant. All of the party patrons have dined elsewhere in the Sarasota area and would not return. Highly overrated. Can get a better dining experience at Selva Grill, Element Steak & Seafood, Hyde Park and even Connors Steak & Seafood. Amazed how an upscale restaurant has no dress code allowing individuals in tee shirts, baseball caps worn backwards and flip flops on a Saturday evening. Where is the restaurant decorum these days? Lastly, totally offended by the $10 valet charge when arriving. What is that about? With no self parking, valet and allow the patron to tip in accordance with their thoughts on the valet service like most restaurants in this area. This is not Manhattan or any large metropolitan area. Have dined numerous times at the Philadelphia Ocean Prime and never had such crazy charges. One and done.

   Delicious! Deviled egg appetizer so good! Grouper and snapper were superb! Service was friendly and timely. Would visit again.

   Ocean Prime is a beautiful restaurant. The view was a little less than I expected. Food and service were very good. Thought it was a little pricey but we all enjoyed our meals and evening.

   I loved the food it was awesome there sushi was awesome! And the sea bass was amazing as well! The service and staff are definitely on top of it! I would highly recommend coming here for dinner! I will definitely be coming back I have a dietary restriction and they were very understanding and I was able to eat everything that I wanted! I cant have gluten or dairy and they were able to show me what I was able to have and our waitress was very friendly and helpful!
