   This place did not disappoint! The menu is well-priced, the food is packed with flavor, and the upbeat, lively ambiance made the night even better. The service was outstanding — so many thoughtful personal touches like door openers, lavender-scented towels, and incredibly knowledgeable waiters who really elevated the whole experience. Definitely a spot worth coming back to!

   Long time Mastro's Ocean Club diner here. I'll keep it short: 1. The tables are way too small. Part of 6 felt very cramped. It was ridiculous. 2. The music selection was laughable. All 5 of my guests immediately looked at each other and said, "what is this music?!?!". It was a total distraction. Completely killed the vibe. 3. Bought a nice bottle of wine off the reserve list with no sommelier interaction. The wine was spilled as it was poured. I did not order the house wine - this was a serious wine and the sommelier should have immediately come over to discuss. I purposely did not bring my own wine because I wanted to check out their list and show some support for the somm. 4. The caviar presentation was horrible. The blinis were hard - literally hard. Unacceptable. Ocean Club caviar presentation is 10X better. 5. The seafood was not fresh. Ordered a small tower and was disappointed. 6. The steaks were clearly dry aged but not worth $100. I was sadly disappointed as were my guests. I really wanted to like this spot because I've heard a lot of positive chatter. Unfortunately, Ocean 48 is nowhere near the Ocean Club level. I hope the restaurant finds a way to improve everything because I would really like to have a backup for Ocean Club. Regrettably, this is not it. Lastly, I rarely write up any reviews on OpenTable but I felt compelled in this case because I know there are many like me looking for a Mastro's Ocean Club alternative on nights where it is completely booked. As of now, this is not it. Again, I hope the restaurant finds its footing and eventually rises to the occasion.

   What a wonderful experience! I would highly recommend Ocean 48, the food was exceptional and the service outstanding. They left us with not a want for anything. Looking forward to the next dining experience . Thank you.

   great experience. It was our anniversary and the general manager actually send us a hand written card. The server was awesome. Staff were super courteous all around. Food tasted great. We will definitely come back here again.

   Great selection of tequilas and wines by bottle and glass. Was not fan of poached egg in Cesar salad , but steak was cooked to perfection . Fish Bronzino was excellent as well . Prices are on the very high side.

   Tabatha was our server. She did an excellent job. Answered all of our questions and paid attention to our requests. Her helper Jesus was excellent also by asking us if there was anything that we needed. The food was excellent as expected. If you have been to Mastros Ocean Club this is a step above. The $ was a little higher than Mastros but well worth it. The seating area was great. You didn’t feel all crammed next to another table. We will be returning for sure. Thank you Tabatha & Jesus for helping us celebrate our 46th wedding anniversary.

    There are not enough superlatives to describe Ocean 48. From the moment we approached the front door and were welcomed in the overall experience was nothing short of sublime. The food we ordered was of the highest culinary quality. The service provided by our server (Bo or Beau-apologies for not asking him for the spelling) was just extraordinarily exceptional. The ambiance and overall feel of Ocean 48 is just outstanding in comfort, privacy and attention to detail. Even the music was first choice entertainment. We could not find fault in any category ( which quite frankly, surprised us but in the nicest of ways). We will definitely return to Ocean 48 and look forward to being treated special again. If only every restaurant we visited would take a leaf from Ocean 48’s book on “how to get everything right when running a restaurant “.
