OC Wasabi is an authentic Japanese eatery. Great sushi is relatively simple, and the kitchen staff at OC Wasabi know this. The focus here is purely on providing the freshest seafood available and preparing it with care and skill. The dining room here is relatively simple yet refined, which is an excellent reflection of how the sushi chefs approach creating their sushi plates.OC Wasabi doesn't just serve sushi, of course. There are several delicious appetizers available that come straight from the kitchen like the beef negimaki, grilled squid, gyoza dumplings and nasu kayi, which is grilled eggplant served with miso sauce. Most diners come here for the sushi, though and OC Wasabi has some fantastic rolls like the Chuck Webb with crab stick, cream cheese, smoked salmon and cucumber topped with eel and eel sauce.
