   I had seen a lot about this restaurant on Facebook so was keen to try it and booked it a month in advance as I was working in the area. I sat outside in the back courtyard area which was lovely. I ordered a non alcoholic beer but was told later that they had run out and the lovely waitress was giving me lots of alternatives but unfortunately all alcoholic! The calamari start was great and I ordered my prawn linguine. I was quite disappointed that I heard a table next to me (after my order was made) order steak and chips. This didn’t seem to have been on the menu and it would have been good to have known. My linguine was lovely but took about 40mins to arrive after my starter. Would go back but I’d probably ask about any off menu dishes

   Really lovely restaurant. Really varied menu and food was exceptional. Will definitely be visiting again.

   Wonderful place. Such a good choice, great food and service. Ate in the garden which was lovely. Thoroughly recommend .

   A wonderful clean restaurant with polite and helpful staff. The food was perfect with wonderful flavours. Will definitely rebook soon.

   Really nice Restaurant , I increased my table to being a friend and we sat in the beautiful garden to rear of the restaurant. Great food and wonderfully, attentive, smiley staff. They blew my non vegan friends mind with the vegan steak. Generous portion sizes and a great selection of options. Will definitely be back when in the area and my friend is going back soon too!

   Lovely food, very sparse service unfortunately, and waitress alittle rude when telling us they were closing soon and didn’t enjoy enjoy a dog barking at table next to us!

   Enjoyed a pleasant evening in the roomy, quiet garden. Much preferred to be seated there than in the restaurant, which seemed to have too many tables which were close together and inconveniently placed. Was a bit disappointed with this, as love this restaurant and the vegan food, but the garden was very pleasant. Some of the items on the menu had changed, and this was lovely. We really enjoyed the chocolate cake for dessert, which was a huge portion and perfect for sharing. The staff are friendly, cheerful and helpful. Will definitely be back.

   Wonderful food. Nice large helpings. Lovely waitresses. Happy and friendly. Brilliant evening excellent value for money.

   Warm welcome from staff and great service throughout the evening. Food was delicious, we all had the steak and chips! The texture of the steak was insanely realistic. Garlic mushrooms and garlic sauce to die for. Good chips too! Lovely bottle of wine to accompany. Decor is cool. Would recommend the Oak Tree to everyone 💚

    Very friendly service and pleasant atmosphere. Portion size was huge! I am not a veggie but my friend is (and it was her birthday!) The choice was excellent and the food was lovely.
