   The ambience, the customer service, the food, the staff and they went over and above to make my Craig feel very special. Thanks to the staff especially for your attention to detail. Craig was touched by your kindness and really loved his gifts. We are forever grateful for your kindness shown to us.

   I took my wife for her birthday and we had a beautiful meal from start to finish. The bread service is a must - warm and delicious, topped with thick salt, and served with a great butter. We got the Caesar and NC Burrata salads and they were both decently sized and tasty. Her filet was perfectly cooked with a nice, thickly seasoned crust and my elk chop was fantastic - I ordered it served medium rare as suggested and it was so tender and flavorful. We also got a side of the mushrooms and they were seasoned and cooked to perfection - the perfect compliment to our meal. Finally, we got the chocolate cake for dessert and it was huge and decadent. A truly wonderful meal and we will definitely be back!

   Asked for a window table. Was told I was given a window table. Then proceeded to walk us past 3 open window tables to a middle table. Waiter made sure to visit other tables around us multiple times while not even stopping by. We had ordered two glasses of wine, was told that they were up and he was going to be right back with the glasses, took a pretty long time to come out. Had someone else bring it to us. While the table next to us ordered wine afterwards and he brought it out to them almost immediately. Only time he moved quickly to serve our table was to give us our check. I honestly regret tipping. Not to mention the medium filet mignon was extremely undercooked. Was honestly disappointed in the experience. To see certain tables get preferential treatment. First and last time dining here.

   Hands down the best dining experience in Raleigh. After living in the area for almost 10 years, we’ve been to plenty of restaurants around the Triangle. Oak Steakhouse won our hearts 2 years ago when we dined for my husband’s birthday, and the combination of experience, food, and staff was so top notch we’ve been back every year to celebrate his birthday. What makes Oak Steakhouse different from others is the hospitality. Most of the time when you make a restaurant reservation and select “birthday” or “anniversary” it is not acknowledged. Oak Steakhouse is special and actually celebrates you and your guests. After seeing how my husband was acknowledged throughout our experience, it made our dinner guests want to make reservations for their birthdays too. The staff and general manager went above and beyond to ensure our time with them was incredible. And on top of everything? The food is delicious, fresh, and absolutely amazing. Thank you for another amazing experience Oak Steakhouse, see you next April!

   THis restaurant went above and beyond to provide a personal touch to my husband, who was celebrating his birthday. They asked for hobbies and likes ahead of time, and got him a gift. SO THOUGHTFUL! They also sent out free appetizers because the steaks took a little longer to cook. Very impressed with their service and attention to detail! Highly recommend, and will be back!! The manager even stopped by a few times to chat and check-in, and just shoot the breeze with us.

   Medium ribeye was overcooked and the crust was burnt char. Otherwise the experience was great. My only suggestion would be to acknowledge guests there for special occasions a bit more. Sides, bread, and wife’s beef Wellington was all phenomenal.

    The Oak Steakhouse - Raleigh is one of my favorite restaurants in Raleigh, by far. My husband and I have made it our restaurant of choice for celebrations because every time we go, we have a phenomenal experience. First of all, the food is absolutely delicious. What I love about the Oak Steakhouse is that while their focus is steak, they don't forget the rest of the meal or their vegetables. Because the menu has seasonal rotations, we always find something new and exciting to try. On this past visit we enjoyed our staples of the parkerhouse rolls and deviled eggs with fried oysters on top - a MUST if you like bread or deviled eggs! I decided on trying the roasted carrot side dish with my steak and they were such a delight. The carrots were perfectly roasted and the pickled raisins and chermoula were bright pops of flavor. My husband's Rindschnitzel was as large as the plate and as good as schnitzels we've had in Germany and Austria and my fillet mignon was perfect. The chocolate cake is amazing - not too sweet or rich, which I appreciated. One thing I struggle with at the Oak is - do I want to eat all vegetables or something that is not a steak or have a steak plus some veggies? If you're a vegetarian, you have much more than a salad to eat as a delicious option at the Oak. As I am currently pregnant, I really appreciated their delicious mocktail options. The Raspberry Refresher and Prison Break drinks were nicely balanced and interesting - not just a glass of juice! The service and dining experience at the Oak is some of the best in Raleigh as well. All of the staff are super friendly and provide a really nice elevated but also chill dining experience. I've visited during the week and now on the weekend and even when it's super busy the staff is very attentive and it's never too loud to hear the people you're dining with. If you're looking for a restaurant to celebrate or just want an amazing meal, I cannot recommend the Oak Steakhouse - Raleigh enough!
