   The evening was fantastic. The atmosphere was so full of positive vibes coming from many locals who were just enjoying an evening out with friends and family. It was great to visit with those you don't see often. The food was incredible and we so enjoyed every morsel!

   There was too much salt on the salad and it was drowning in dressing. It took over 20 minutes to get a draft beer and a bottle beer. Baked Potatoes were cold when plates arrived at our table. Overall a disappointing dinner :(

   The new management of the Oak House Tavern provided an exceptional experience, both with our stay at the inn and our dinner on Friday night. We were hoping for duck and ribeye, and the menu didn't disappoint. Neither did the chef, as both were fantastic!

   Brought our friends in for our second trip to Oak House Tavern. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. Slight problem with one meal which was delayed due to an error by the chef. They apologized and compt the meal as well as provided free desserts for everyone, and the homemade carrot cake was amazing!!! On the way out we made reservations for next weekend with more friends. Great place!!

   I really wanted it to be a great Lodge dinner experience, however, I was disappointed. very nice people, but the menu and food did not impress. I would suggest simplifying the menu and trying to raise the bar on quality of food. I hope they make it work, seemed like a nice family.

   Best steak dinner I’ve had in a couple of years. My other half doesn’t usually have steak. She fell in love with the ribeye. Chocolate brownie with caramel in the center for dessert was to die for. Since it’s only 4 miles away we’ll be back soon.

   A great place for both casual dining and a special night out. Food was delicious with great menu items that were hard to choose between! We had the special appetiser of steamed mussels and it was large and excellent. Good drink selection and desserts were delicious too. Our server was somewhat inattentive and didn't check often and forgot to bring some drinks for quite a while and brought the wrong dessert but we ended up with two desserts so they made sure all was made right. Brownie was really good and we were full so warmed up the s'more bar at home the next day and it was divine. Hopefully it was an off night for our server as we will definitely return.
