   Disappointed with the food, we were told that the chef was excellent and the food was the same but after paying $279 for their NYE dinner we really had wishes we ate somewhere else. The food was just ok and value was really poor for what was served. Funny thing after dinner we may a couple that canceled their reservation for the same reasons. They did it last year and decided that if the restaurant was as last year they would be extremely disappointed so they canceled and went into town for dinner. Bottom line is if you are going to charge that kind of money for dinner it has to be nothing short of excellent. This was at best a $75 per person dinner and I am being honest. By the way the $279 was dinner only drinks were extra:

   Lovely and tasty meal! Service was very personable! My only suggestion is it would be great to have an iced carafe to keep the bottle of white wine cool. That’s not a complaint - only a suggestion. Thanks for a wonderful dinner!

   Outstanding experience. Had dined here at Christmas 12 years ago so had high expectations. We were nit disappointed.

   Servers picking up wine glasses from the tops? Sloppy. With a wine tasting we should have fresh cutlery with each course. Wine glasses became couldier with each course. St.eugene has been the pinnacle of service and dinning for as long as I can remember, however this evening was a bit of a let down. The beet ravioli was exceptional. Tenderloin was great, compari tomato.... omg

   Fantastic wine pairing dinner, portions of food and wine were generous and delicious! Always such a beautiful setting and experience!
