Noz Market first opened its doors in October 2020, providing New Yorkers with a resource for high-end seafood, Japanese accoutrements, and delicious prepared sushi and sashimi.

Past the hand roll bar and market front, a bamboo-lined hallway gives way to an intimate 10-seat counter where guests choose from two menu options: the Classic Menu ($90/person) and the Chef's Menu ($155/person). Lunch Omakase ($90/person) is available from Friday-Sunday.

At our table seating, we offer an la carte menu of plated dishes, many of which also appear on our delivery menu.

Reservations for our omakase counter and back tables are now available seven days a week. We look forward to hosting you!

The Chef's Menu includes one otsumami (appetizer), 10 nigiri, 1 uni course, 1 maki roll, miso soup, tamago, and dessert for $155 per person. Guests are always welcome to order additional sushi and hand rolls from our à la carte menu at the conclusion of their meal. If reservations are sold out at your preferred time, give us a call at (646) 669-7435 to inquire about walk-in availability. Please note that we are unable to accommodate rice-free or vegan menus.     Unfortunately it’s going downhill. The chefs have changed from Japanese to Chinese. The sushi is now just average, not the high quality it used to be for years Noz Market. Its upmarket older sibling next door, Sushi Noz, is still fantastic, one of the top in the city, and Noz Market used to be a more casual, less expensive sibling. Now the relationship seems to have been severed. Truly hope something can be done about that. A fan.

    I did NOT like the service, although the food was good. I booked omakase for me and my friend a week ahead. When we got there they would only sit us in a corner at the bar against the wall. My friend was older and was not comfortable with the tall chair against the wall and asked to be seated elsewhere. It was 6:30pm there was only one customer at the bar. They wouldn’t sit us anywhere else and saying it is all booked. After we finished in about 2 hours there was barely anyone showed up, and the rest of the seats weren’t for a large group. It was bizarre to me. I felt being mistreated. My friend deeply felt that we were being discriminated against.

    Noz Market headed by Chef Eli is a wonderful experience. If you are looking for an authentic and traditional Japanese experience, this is the place to go. You can expect a wide range of delicious seasonal pieces combined with the staples everyone knows and loves (tuna, salmon, scallops, uni). In terms of price, Noz Market definitely isn’t cheap, but it’s worth it as everything you eat has never been frozen. Every fish was caught and shipped from Japan in the last 24 hours. I recommend doing the chef’s omakase; you will be full by the end of the service.
