   The food was really good. However the volume and the tables being so close to one another seems a bit over the top. The music was very loud which was difficult to hear my friend across the table + we were so close to other people where they could hear us and we could hear them

   Nowon is a standout addition to the Seaport dining scene. The "Mixtapes" tasting option is a fun, shareable way to try most of the menu—everything was delicious except the underwhelming tater tots (although they were super crispy). Cocktails are excellent, though on the smaller side. The biggest drawback is the tight, communal seating, which doesn’t suit private conversations. Great for food lovers and friends, less ideal for a first date night.

   The host and hostess were not very welcoming or friendly, but I know the restaurant just opened, so maybe they were overwhelmed. The food was good, but came out in a weird order. The tots and burger came out first, and the starter we ordered came out last. I’m not sure if there is a reason for this or if we should have specified an order? It didn’t matter much to us, but it was a little odd and would probably be good to let diners know this is the case when they put in their order. We ordered the shrimp mandu, general lee’s chicken, kimchi fried rice, legendary burger, extraordinary tots, and the chopped cheese rice cakes. The best items were the legendary burger and the fried rice, though everything was well executed. We also ordered mocktails (Korean born star and respect your elders), which were very good. Our server, Martini, was excellent and a bright spot in our meal. He was attentive without being overbearing. He was also happy to accommodate us when we requested to be moved to the end of the row of tables (originally the host told us no because there was a reservation there, which made no sense because we were also a reservation? The tables were never fully occupied while we were there, so I’m not sure if there was a miscommunication). Which brings me into my main takeaway: Although the food was good and well executed, the experience suffers from the ambience (or lack thereof). The tables of 2 truly could not be closer together; they are an inch apart. It feels like you’re dining with the people next to you, which is why we had asked if we could move to the end of the row. The music is very loud and you have to yell to hear each other across the table or communicate with your server. I definitely would not take a date here, as it is far too loud to have a conversation. Maybe it would be good for a friend group? Ultimately, I think the food is overshadowed by the loud and claustrophobic atmosphere, which is unfortunate.

   All the food was phenomenal! We enjoyed every dish and would highly recommend. Great ambiance, super reasonable prices, everything was fresh and hot, would 10000% recommend!

   Really wish I could leave 5 stars all around but the manager was not the most courteous. There were tables wide open for my entire dining experience and I was initially turned away for not having a reservation and was told they were booked until 10pm. This was around 5:20p I walked out, made a reservation on open table for 5:30p. Walked back in and was given a serious attitude and glare from management who asked to see my reservation 3 times. Not sure what his issue was considering there were 6+ open tables the entire time we dined. Even if something was off for your open table to seating system - that is not the customers fault. Don't glare at me and my significant other

   We had an amazing experience at Nowon, from the food to the drinks to our friendly attentive waitress and the amazing music. You would never know the grand opening was just one day prior. Some of our menu highlights were the black sesame caesar salad, spicy shrimp mandu, general lee's chicken, and our course the legendary cheeseburger. I highly recommend this new restaurant in the seaport! Kudos to the staff and management for an excellent opening!! I cant wait to come back.

   For it being their second day open, we had a great experience! The vibe is loud and energetic, but well created. Service was a little slow, but that was to be expected given they just opened. The drinks were fantastic - as was the food! We ordered the shrimp mandu, honey butter tots, general lee’s chicken, and the cheesy rice cakes. Each dish was delicious but we especially loved the shrimp mandu and the incredible cheesy rice cakes. Tons of flavor depth in every single dish!

   Good vibes, love the 2000s music videos playing in the background with all the nostalgia rap/hip hop hits. Must order both of the burgers, black sesame caesar and the general lees chicken.

    It was recommended to add this spot to my burger tour in NYC last month. To my surprise, a location opened in the Seaport. Both burgers were on point, but the Legendary burger takes first the top spot for me.
