   Some great items on this menu, creative combinations of flavors as in the delicious carrot cream brûlée.

   Their Caboose burger is fantastic. They do whatever they can to please their patrons, just ask. Staff is more than willing to please. Haven't had a bad meal & will continue to patronize them. They actually got me hooked on Eggs Benedict as I had never had them before. I don't care for Canadian bacon, so I asked them to make it with regular bacon, phenominal <3 <3 <3

   What an elegant meal, perfect for Valentine's Day. They had two seatings for the special dinner, reservation only, so there was no waiting and no rushing either. We dined that night, and enjoyed not one, but two desserts! We chose the lobster cake with spicy mango sauce and a perfectly prepared steak tartar, with a quails egg yolk topping... extraordinary. The entrees of the charbroiled strip steak with maytag blue and the monk fish were also prepared perfectly. The service is a team, and works very well together. I don't think you'll be disappointed!

   Food was absolutely spectacular! Warm welcome was seriously lacking upon entering the restaurant which was off putting. Hopefully this can be remedied in working out kinks involved with being a new establishment. Can't wait for TRiNiQ!

   Notch 8 fell short this time. Service on our first visit was excellent. Not good this visit. We were there for Valentine's day lunch. No mention of specials from our server. We heard other servers offering 2 for 1 bloody marys to other tables. No water was offered. We asked for water later in the meal. I ordered tea. No spoon came with the mug. Didn't want to use my fork to get the tea bag out ~ had to ask for a spoon. No saucer for the tea bag. Too many missteps. Food was okay. Won't go back.

   I love to support new restaurants and heard good things about Notch 8. The number of lunch menu items was just right as everything is fresh and made to order. I would suggest a little more flavor to the chopped salad but my friend highly reccommends the goat cheese and arugala salad. I'm looking forward to trying the dinner menu.

   This restaurant was recommended to us by friends and we loved it !! The ambiance is great, we got a booth which I am happy about - the two tops looked a bit small. It seems that the kitchen might still be working out some kinks in their timing.... we waited a WHILE for our entrees. However when they arrived, they were delicious!!! It's worth going - we would go back for certain !

   Notch 8 is amazing...everyone is friendly and welcoming! Food is amazing :) Haven't had a bad meal, yet!

   Three of us dined at the Notch 8 and had a splendid visit! From the greeting through the last sip of coffee and dessert, the evening was perfect. I had the Big Caboose (oh my!), and the pork chop and fried shrimp and oysters were ordered by the other guests. All was delicious! And don't pass up the wings! We split an appetizer of the Notch 6 wings, plenty hot and oh so fall-off-the-bone tasty and tender! Top that off with a nice selection of wines and beers, and fine desserts. Try the homemade gelato! Cheers!

    This was our second visit to Notch 8 and what a difference a few weeks makes! The kinks --pokey service and a bit of pleasant chaos -- seem to have worked themselves out. The food remains delectable! I truly savored EVERY BITE! The lemon ricotta pancakes may well be one of the most delicious sweet breakfast dishes I have ever eaten! The hash browns got a splendid makeover from my last visit, and I ate every crumb! Yum! PERFECT Hollandaise. I just cannot get enough of that Benedict! The french toast continues to be a knock out, and the egg white frittata was a massive plate of healthy goodness! Their scrumptious food together with their attentive and charming staff, make Notch 8 the quintessential neighborhood gem!
