Our wines are among the top wines in Washington. We have some rare varietals as well, like Carmenere (93 points), Petite Sirah (93 points), and Petit Verdot (94 points).

Cabernet Sauvignon 2015
80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Petit Verdot, Alder Ridge, Corvus Vineyards, Columbia Valley, Bottled July 2018, 275 cases. Starting with big rich aromas of ripe black currant, strawberry leather, deep raisin and stewed plum with whiffs of eucalyptus, this cab has a velvety mouthful of more lush dark fruit, black licorice, cherry and a touch of leather. Very nicely balanced with smooth tannins. Don't wait!

Carménère 2016
100% Carménère, Seven Hills Vineyard, Walla Walla Valley, Bottled August 2018, 70 cases. Underneath the spicy plum aroma is a savoriness that's a little stemmy, a little roasted tomato, a little smoked paprika. All this shows on the palate along with black fruits and the stuck sides of a marionberry cobbler. Some lingering cayenne finishes the job. Unique and sensually delicious!

Intrigue 2016
30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Malbec, 30% Syrah, 10% Petit Verdot, Columbia Valley, Bottled September 2018, 216 cases. A complex nose of very ripe blackberries, black currant and green bramble with hints of menthol, oregano, orange rind and the bottom board of an old dresser. The palate is a rich mash of black fruit, baking spices, and a bit of root beer all enfolded in dry soft tannins. Good acidity balances the fullness of this big blend with a finish that just won't quit. Crazy good!

Madrigal 2016
34% Syrah, 33% Grenache, 33% Mourvèdre, Yakima Valley, Bottled February 2018, 149 cases. Breathe in aromas of plum, a little leather, some dusty raspberries and a few maraschino cherries sprinkled with fresh herbs. Follow that with some brighter flavors of cranberry and pie cherries. Add notes of baking spices, some raspberry mint sauce and a touch of meatiness. With smooth tannins, you will love this wine!

100% Malbec, Verhey Vineyard, Yakima Valley, Bottled August 2018, 186 cases. Notes of grape hard candies greet the nose followed by concentrated blackberry and plum, cocoa powder, warm baking spices and something a little herby. What follows is a deep and dry well-balanced palate saturated with plenty of dark fruit, a note of candied cherry and a finish of cinnamon baked plums. Smooth, rich, elegant, fabulous!

Columbia Valley, Otis, Coyote Canyon Vineyard, Bottled August 2018, 161 cases. Starts with soft red fruit on the nose and hints of cocoa. These ease into the palate revealing a core of ripe dark plum enhanced with strawberry and cherry and a touch of cranberry chutney. With easy tannins and nice acidity and a finish with a hint of spice, this is a perfect go-to wine!

Intense nose of black currant, raspberry candies, black grapes, black tea and a little plop of wet cement. The pallet is dry but fruity with orange rind, cranberry relish and grape pez. Well balanced with integrated tannins and a finish of a cocoa dusted orange chocolate truffle

100% Petite Sirah, Art Den Hoed Vineyard, Yakima Valley, Bottled August 2018, 216 cases. Chocolate on the nose along with sour cherry that turns into raspberry pie and some dried strawberry with traces of oregano and cedar. Tasting brings out flavors of those tart little plums, red currants, and chocolate covered dried cranberries with a finish of citrusy tannins. This and good acidity are ideal for pairing with fatty slow cooked foods. A big tasty wine!

Petit Verdot 2016
100% Petit Verdot, Alder Ridge, Corvus, Vineyards, Columbia Valley, Bottled September 2018, 88 cases. More full-bodied, this PV is luscious from start to finish. With lots of blackberry, cherry, floral notes and whiffs of rose hip tea along with fresh clean dirt, the palate shows flavors of black cherry, boysenberry pie, and licorice. Well balanced, it is dark and serious but nothing you can't flirt with. And you should.

"R" Red Blend 2016
70% Merlot, 25% Syrah, 5% Petit Verdot, Yakima Valley, Bottled February 2018, 672 cases. The '16 Red Blend makes its debut with aplomb. Or, rather, with a plummy, cherry filled nose touched with cinnamon, vanilla, dark fruit leather and some dirty dried leaves to add interest. The palate has nice dry tannins throughout, more cherry, a touch of sage and a spicy red plum finish. Don't worry about the leaves, they'll blow away.

With deep aromas of black currant, prune and plum and notes of dried herbs, potpourri and vanilla, also reflected on the palate, in this lush very well-balanced wine. True to this varietal, it is savory and rich with its dark intense fruit leading to a persistent finish of subtle peppery spice. Note to self- drink this wine!

There's a touch of creaminess and more flavors of grapefruit and crushed rock with a little grassy finish. Think babbling brook and enjoy!"

What a hidden gem! This place would’ve been super crowded if it was in a more popular location. The wines were wonderful. Good price point. So glad we discovered Northwest cellars. We will be back!

Bob, Peggy and Laurie are great hosts. They also had a jazz group playing which just adds to the experience. If you have never been to Northwest Cellars you need to put them on your list to make happen!

Bob and the rest of the team are so great! They know all their regulars by name and welcome new guests with open arms. The wine is fantastic! Couldn’t recommend more.

This is a winery tasting room, they offer a wide variety of red wines and a few whites. There is a snack box available for purchase, or you may bring your own food. Pizza not advised, as most of the table tops aren't large enough to accommodate a large box on them. If you're set on pizza, there is a comfy seating area with a couple small sofas. The wine is fantastic! Bob Delf does a great job with his wines and with bringing in great musicians for Friday night entertainment. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful.

Have been to NW Cellars on several occasions and it never disappoints. Wine is excellent - not exaggerating - really good wine. Staff are friendly and welcoming and work to ensure everyone has what they need. On this occasion there was live music which was really fun, a very intimate concert for about 2 dozen people sipping really good wine!

NW Cellars offers an enjoyable and relaxing happy hour with live music on most Friday evenings. They book excellent cover bands, have snack boxes available for purchase, and award winning wines. It is possible to hold a conversation while the bands play, making it a sociable evening.

Totally strange experience here. I met up with a friend who dresses “alternative” meaning she has blue hair. She also makes six figures at a well known software company so maybe Northwest Cellars shouldn’t judge a book by it’s cover? By far the snobbiest wine experience I’ve ever had, and this includes Napa etc! I showed up to my friend waiting in the waiting area with a woman who works there. She asked my friend twice if she was lost and refused to seat her until I had arrived. Mind you it was empty in there. The whole experience was so awkward and whisper quiet and quite frankly rude and uncomfortable. I basically always buy a bottle when out wine tasting but we were both so put off we didn’t. We did buy 6 bottles at the next place we tried who were kind and welcoming. Would not recommend if you’re under the age of 80.
