   Joanna our host was absolutely amazing catered to all our needs, we enjoyed a great first time experience. Food was great for the price.

   I was staying at the Interlude and acquired a copy of the menu because I have allergies. On arrival we were seated immediately and the staff were attentive but not pushy. They were able to answer any questions about the dishes. Food was delivered promptly and we had a good view of the kitchen and the restaurant. The food was lovely and our selection sufficiently filling. It was a busy Saturday night and there was a wedding and a few small group bookings. The staff did a wonderful job and it was clear they were busy but working as a great team both front and back of house. There was a bit of noise in the dining area so we elected to go to the Olivine bar for a quieter drink before returning to our room. It was a lovely night!

   I booked dinner so that I couId see if this was a place that would suit to have my mothers 80th Birthday in June. I was so pleasantly surprised. The service was magnificent from the time we walked in the door. The wait staff tended to us straight away. I asked about the space that could be used for the birthday and we were shown around after we ate. We were explained the menu and given follow up details for any further questions. The place is wonderful and uniquely different as it was a prison. The food was flawless, the wine I had was also wonderful. After dinner we went to the bar where you can book a cell to have a drink. It was a wonderful experience all night. Highly recommend eating here.

   I never write reviews ,but running a business with staff, this is our experience for a special night last night We were very much looking forward to trying this restaurant. We came in early to avoid any problems. Arrived at 5-15. Pm. Told we needed to wait a few minutes. No problems. Into the restaurant at 5:30. Food ordered immediately as we had to leave at 7 pm The front of house man was unhelpful and sour looking The waitress was obviously new and struggling but got there in the end ok , expect we were missing the bread we wanted. The food didn’t arrive until 6.40-6.45 leaving us about 15 minute to eat our one course before we had to leave. That was after we spoke to a waiter to ask how our order was going So know chance for dessert or coffee. In fact some of our party was still hungry. The food was very nice but small portions for the price. Overall a very disappointing experience as we had traveled one hour to eat here

   Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. For a group of 10, we typically recommend allowing 2–3 hours to fully enjoy the North & Common experience. Had we been informed in advance of your need to depart by 7:00 PM, we would have done our best to tailor the service accordingly. We understand how coordinating a large group’s order can be difficult, and in this case, the meal order was placed approximately 40 minutes after your scheduled seating time, with an additional 30 minutes typically required for preparation and service.    We had an excellent lunch to celebrate our wedding anniversary. As usual the food was outstanding, we opted for the set menu options with bottomless wines to match. The wines were well matched & the staff were very helpful & knowledgeable about their products. Very nice afternoon,

    What a stunning restaurant in the heart of Coburg. Our food was outstanding and as promised my our waiter fresh produce. The flavour profiles were devine and was great value for the quality and quantity of food you get for $95 per person. The eggplant and pork were a stand out for us especially with black garlic mouse and wasabi dip. We also particularly enjoyed the wine selections and enjoyed a few glasses at the restaurant but also the wine bar next door olivine. Was refreshing to see such a high level of customer service and Luke our waiter was very attentive and thorough with his exceptional service. You walked I to the restaurant and felt welcomed immediately. Will be coming again 10/10
