   Food was average. Not sure what is Israeli cuisine. We went for the restaurant week. The place had maybe 4 tables busy including us. But they had run out of one main course and one desert, which we wanted. Staff was sweet and one of them kindly lowered the music volume, on our request. Wouldn’t go back for the food though.

   Welcome to North Miznon, the Israeli restaurant by the famous Chef Eyal Shani! With critically acclaimed locations all around the globe, including Tel Aviv, NYC, Paris, Vienna, Melbourne, Singapore, and now Dubai, I couldn't wait to see what all the hype was about. As soon as I stepped into North Miznon, I was greeted by a sea of tomatoes. Yes, you heard it right, tomatoes! The restaurant is lined with tomatoes, and even the waitstaff has a tomato embroidered on their uniforms. I was curious to know what's with all the tomatoes, and then I learned that Chef Eyal Shani has a thing for them. A tomato obsession, if you will. But let's talk about the food because that's what we're here for, right? The North Miznon's signature Focaccia, studded with tomatoes, onions, and green chillies, was the perfect start to my meal. And guess what? It's served on the house, so dig in! This freshly baked bread was ridiculously delicious and had me wanting more. Next up, I tried the Golden Calamari, which was fresh and crunchy, but what really elevated the dish was the Lactonesa sauce. It was a match made in heaven! Moving on to the hummus topped with lamb ragu, I have to say that it was one of the best versions of the dish I've ever tasted. The lamb was perfectly marinated and grilled, and I was left wanting more. Honestly, if they had given me double the amount of lamb ragu, I would have devoured it all. The Pistachio Olive Oil Cake was the perfect ending to my meal. It had delicate flavours and was a sublime experience. But the real star of North Miznon is the buzzing open kitchen, which gives the restaurant a semi-casual vibe. The enthusiastic energy from the staff was palpable, and it made my experience all the more enjoyable. Overall, I had heard so much praise about this restaurant, and I'm happy to report that it's all true.
