   We had a really nice meal and a great time at North Beach Restaurant. The atmosphere was welcoming, comfortable, classy and understated. The food and service were great across the board. My one quibble was that the food came too quickly, not allowing us enough time to relax and visit. Overall, though, it was a really nice experience.

   My wife and I have dinner here every time we're in San Francisco. The staff is always gracious and very attentive, it's classic Italian food.

   The food was excellent—everything we had was full of flavor and clearly made with care. Prices were on the higher side, but honestly, pretty typical for this part of North Beach. Service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. What really stood out to me, though, was the atmosphere. Despite being a busy night, it was easy to carry on a conversation without shouting—some kind of sound-dampening setup that actually works. Huge plus. The place has recently reopened under new ownership, and you can tell they’re doing things right. We’ll definitely be back.

   Food was very good. But the noise level was high. Be nice if more sound absorbing tapestry were hung in the ceiling and walls so the interior isn't so bright sound-wise bouncing sounds around. Hard to hear my friends' conversation.

   Crystal Rose, Maria, Javier, Samuel - treated us great! Maria is the best, what a joy, a true professional, and man, can Samuel take good pics! This is my SF go-to.

   The food and wine were wonderful. The manager was nice. The waiter was terrible. Rude, in fact. He was too busy watching basketball on tv to even refill our waters. If you're patient, this is the place. Otherwise, avoid it. It was empty for a reason!
