Welcome to Nook, our little corner of the restaurant world. Nook is a family owned and operated restaurant. It is an expression of who we are: adventurous, whimsical, and a little eccentric. The food is built on quality ingredients that are treated respectfully and served artistically. We create an intimate dining experience that is comfortable and professional with no barriers - literally. There are no walls between the chef and the guest. The dining room is very much a part of the kitchen, giving diners an experience to embrace and remember.

Nook offers two Chef’s Tasting menus titled “Pre-Theater” a 5 course menu seating at 5:30 PM for $35 or “Performance” a 9 course menu seating at 7:30 PM for $75, Wednesdays through Saturdays. Beer and wine will be available along with optional beverage pairings at an additional cost. Please note any allergies or dietary restrictions when making your reservations ahead of time for the best consideration for your dietary needs.

Exquisite and non pretentious! Loved dining here. Just like eating with friends but the flavors were a symphony of yummy delight! Definitely an adventure and one that I will repeat often. A delightful culinary adventure.

I have already recommended Nook to friends. It was a wonderful experience and to use a cliché "Nook is a destination restaurant."

We were a group of eight happy, hungry trenchermen—and we all loved Nook, a welcome new kitchen tucked into Madison’s east side. Noah was our able host and co-chef who introduced us to each surprise course with knowledge, enthusiasm and good humor. Not every dish was entirely successful, but each one was prepared with care and creative spirit. We’ll surely return for more of Nook’s dining experiences, ideally in groups of 4-6 friends. And perhaps with luck that sensational cauliflower soup will reappear on the menu again.

Every course is a delicious surprise. The Teddy Bear dessert was the perfect course with coffee at the end of an amazing meal.

Unique and interesting atmosphere. Enjoyed dining as one table with strangers, with a small group. Excellent and creative food. Excellent drink pairing.

Fantastic food. The courses are put together very thoughtfully and there are surprising layers of flavor and enjoyment. Honestly, just a wonderful evening and a great opportunity to have a fun dinner for two or with a group. I’ve gone twice now and enjoyed it both times equally as much. Once was on a birthday date for two and another was with our family of 7. We didn’t have any cross over on the menu either so don’t be afraid to go back after a few weeks! Definitely recommend. Love the ambiance and ease of discourse with the chefs and staff.

It's obvious that the chefs at Nook enjoy playing with food. Each plate was well thought out and had some interesting or surprising twist. When you go, I hope tacos are on the menu, they were deeeelicious.

Great and unique intimate dining experience. Creative and thoughtful cuisine in a tasting menu format. Delicious food that's even more impressive as it's created in a 'kitchennete' style prep space. A little pricey, but you get what you pay for.
