   The experience was awful from start to finish. The resto was 45 min late to seat us (we were only a party of 2). We had reservations at 9PM we were sat at 9:45, and weren’t offered any apology nor complimentary food/drink for the wait. The food was bland, not to Nobu standards BY FAR. we were extremely disappointed. Moreover, when it came time to pay, the restaurant would not accept cash. We were traveling from out of town (Canada) and had exchanged for American money. No other place during our 4 day trip caused us any issues except Nobu. They flat out refused to take the money, we asked for a manager and she was just as unwelcoming and unhelpful. Overall - if I could give this resto a 0 on 10 I would. Very unfortunate.

   The food was incredibly overpriced for what you got. Serving was tiny and didn’t taste that good. I don’t mind paying a premium for good food but this was paying a premium for mediocre food. Only decent thing was the service.

   Dennis L was amazing! He worked with us with our inexperienced palates, a team came over and assisted when some wine was spilled, and was very attentive to our needs and questions. The food was great as well. Been wanting to go for awhile and never have. Almost cancelled, but so glad we didn’t. Great experience!

   We had to wait almost half an hour to have our table despite having made reservations months ahead. The service was not good, for example, we got a main course with the appetizers and got resistance from the waiter to take it back. We could see him pointing finger at us while explaining to we presume the manager why he was bringing back the plate. Later we got the main courses not at the same time and were told that food was served when ready. One of us had to ask four times to get some sticks. We had to ask twice to get the table fixed as it was not stable. We had asked to have a dessert with a candle to celebrate a birthday (like other tables did) but the waiter said this would have happened only if we had ordered desserts. Not our experience in the past. We were very disappointed as it was a very special occasion for our family especially that we have had great experiences with Nobu restaurants in other countries.

    This Nobu wasn’t any better than a local sushi spot in any city. Was expecting a way better experience in the Bahamas but very disappointed.
