At Nirvana, we believe we can bring to the table the most authentic taste of Indian food and serve it tastefully in our intimate zen ambiance. Our unique recipes range from all regional parts of India, picking the very best flavor and style. Food for us has always been an adventure but professionally it has also been about putting Indian cuisine in the forefront, on a podium and at par with some of the most flavorful cuisines out there. It about staying connected to the culture, digging the traditional roots, exploring the rich Indian history and then taking it further, evolving it and at the same time releasing it from copper lined bowls onto a plate -combining different techniques, regions, flavors and textures.

The Buddhist's accents bestow good luck, health, and prosperity upon arrival, encouraging diners to relax in the intimate and inviting atmosphere. Hospitality is our priority, and we take pride in our customer service.

    I’ve been there several times but this time it was the Sunday buffet. Choices were very nice for $23.

    Chicken kabbab, shrimp appetizer, chicken marsella, lamb vindaloo, lamb korma with regular and garlic naan were all outstanding, as usual!! Service and ambiance ore excellent.

    Lovely amazing beautiful fresh food. Never ever had a bad meal. The Naan 🫓 always hot and perfect. Service is fast and efficient! A must if you want Indian Food in Bergen County!!

    All three of us had excellent meals (chicken marsalla, lamb vindaloo, lamb ghost. chicken kebabs, regular and garlic naan. Very "handsome" restaurant with excellent service.

    Always good food, arriving quickly and in good portions. This is our go to spot for Indian food. As an added note I believe the meat they use is Halal as well.
