Luxury takes root in the heart of Austin at Nido, bringing the charm of the area together with the culinary techniques of coastal Europe, all perched above Lady Bird Lake and the energetic cityscape.

Nido is located on the rooftop of The Loren at Lady Bird Lake - recently named by Conde Nast Traveller and Travel & Leisure Magazine as "one of the hottest hotel openings in the world." Nido nods to the surrounding and native Hill Country, giving diners a one-of-a-kind respite to experience worldly-travel through food. Nido’s selection of carefully crafted, seasonal menus are internationally-inspired with a focus on classical technique.

Reservations are available for inside the dining room and the dining tables in the bar. Lounge seating is available on a walk in basis in the bar and on the terrace for drinks and snacks.

    Very nice experience, the drinks were creative, the food was all very good from the salad to our mains (branzino, scallops, fillet), the environment was pretty with amazing downtown view and service was great. Will be going back soon!

    We came for the Easter brunch and were kind of under whelmed. The seafood buffet was small and often picked over and almost empty. If you timed it right the oysters were actually pretty good. Shrimp was good but you had to shell them yourself. No claws. The soup was very good, the steak and eggs reflected the high price of eggs as in there was hardly any egg. Over all just ok.

    We came for Easter Brunch and we were really disappointed.we started with a Seafood bar which had an assortment of overcooked shrimp, lobster claws which were also dried out and some oysters. Not really a seafood bar since it was picked over. We decided to try the dessert bar. Store bought Biscotti, croissants which were decent and some sort of messy roll with something in the middle. The menu was fixed. I tried the sourdough toast with bursts and strawberries. Murray’s was cold on a piece of hard toast that would not cut with a knife. The other dish was salmon which was inedible. A piece of steak frites and fries with soft scrambled eggs, which was ok. All in all, the place looked old and food was subpar. Left with a $350 bill and went home hungry.

    What a perfect experience! My husband and I enjoyed a date night out and enjoyed a fabulous meal with the perfect atmosphere. The Restaurant Nido was fully seated, the light concept fitted perfectly to the music and every guest seem to have a great time! We were served very friendly and professional. Our waitress had answers to all our questions and her recommendations were excellent. Our food was over the top!!! Absolutely delicious, fresh and extraordinary presented. We enjoyed it to where we wanted to lick the plates! Especially the desserts! We are both foodies and have eaten in a lot of restaurants all over the world and will be back at Nido for sure! Amazing job, thank you Team Nido!

    We had a perfect evening of drinks and appetizers on the patio overlooking the river and the Lamar street pedestrian bridge. Watched the sun set and got some great pics.
