   They screwed up my reservation multiple times in spite of my checking and double checking AND communication with the bar. The food was super tiny so two appetizers and 4 drinks were $175 ?! On top of the headache. So disappointed

   Never again will I go to any Watergate restaurant, after a few disappointing Top of the Gate visits as well. The igloos were billed as an experience that I booked for a special birthday- what we got was covered seating on a sidewalk with a very half-assed executed theme. The hostess was rude, it took forever to get menus (I had to come out and ask for service), we didn’t seem to have a dedicated server, drinks and food were overpriced. Bluetooth in the igloo was set up in such a way that our playlist kept being interrupted by what the other igloos were doing. I was embarrassed to have chosen this as a birthday gift for my boyfriend.

   DO NOT BOOK THE "IGLOOS." These things are at bars all over the city but the Watergate will charge you HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS for them and hide the true cost until they give you the bill. One of the most deceptive business practices I've encountered in DC. Stay away. Our waitress, who was really kind, even apologized for the practice. Will never be going back.
