   Could not have asked for a better dining experience for my wife's birthday. Ordered flowers from a linked website and they were at the table when we arrived thanks to the staff at Newport Grill. As always food and service exceeded expectations. That is why when we want a great meal and dining experience we go to Newport Grill. Know everything will be right.

   We arrived a little late for our reservation and they confirmed our Open Table reservation and seated us promptly. We ordered the steelhead sandwich and the fish tacos and both were delicious. The potato buns are really special. We have eaten at this location previously and the quality has been great every time.

   Everything was very good, and the halibut was perfect. This is a basic seafood menu, and you get what you should excpect. Not elegant, but very well done. An excellent, full menu seafood restaurant out to carry more tha a sinle offering of sauvigon blanc. For many seafood lovers, it is the best match. One California SB is just inadequate. One MAJOR problem: I used my Open Table reward check and it was refused! An Open Table restaurant that won't honor Open Table payment?? The manager explained that his (off-site) manager had one refused. The off-site manager must not know how to ue them, and he should find out! When I said it's OK, I just won't come back, I was given a $20 deduction. That was not the point, but I will be back.

   All booths! Asked for a table the host told us they were reserved, we had reservations. Nothing was offered it was that or nothing, which in our opinion is not good business. So we left and tried to go somewhere else, but as it was, it was Mothers Day and this was the only reservation we had, we went back to our hotel and got take out! Pretty messed up Mother's Day dinner. We picked this resturant because we were out of town, it was close to our hotel and the menu looked good. Very disappointed. Open Table needs to have a spot where you can request a table over a booth.

   Nice Easter brunch. I hoped for an extensive buffet, but was offered the regular breakfast or lunch menu plus a table of assorted fruits, pastries, and desserts. Menu entrees were delicious. I liked the bottomless champagne for $5. Our server was very pleasant, but not very attentive. I would dine here again.

   I often try to go to places I have never been, eat foods I have never eaten. When I found this place, it rightfully so fit that bill. The food was very good with great presentation. It wasn't loud, and kind of peaceful. The food was priced expectedly so. I would eat here again.
