   Service was bizarre and not attentive. Food very slow to arrive, and when it did it came out one entree at a time. Terrible and weird for my guests. Used to be great here. Not sure what’s going on. Maybe it was just a bad night.

   I was excited to go for the $5 sushi Thursday special; however, we got there for 6:30 and waited 45 minutes for our sushi! When it arrived, it didn't even taste fresh (I got tempura) - I believe it was sitting there and our waitress didn't grab it sooner. There were several other tables, but it wasn't super busy; yet, our waitress seemed to have a hard time handling it. I had to wait about 15 minutes just for my water, somehow my husband's beer came sooner! Their lunch and dinner combos are a pretty good deal, and I think it was tasty. I'm willing to go back to give the sushi another shot as that was the main reason we went.

   We had a great meal. Food was hot and very tasty. Drinks were excellent. Good service. Very friendly wait staff. We will be back.

   Great food, awesome service, good value! Ray the owner is a nice guy and server Jenny in the lounge is very sweet.

   Twelve of us gathered at New Garden for a family dinner. We mostly enjoyed the appetizers (sushi, tempura, spring rolls, etc.) but the entrees were bland and generally doused with brown sauce. The restaurant is somewhat isolated and off the main drag. It feels more like a bar than an Asian restaurant. Service was spotty and we felt rushed toward the end of the meal.

   We are looking at city prices in a suburban bar. Take a look at the pricing and maybe business will pick up. Unfortunately, I think we are paying for the renovation at the new location.

   I have gone to New Garden over the years for special occasions and have always left feeling like I had a "wow" experience. This last visit was more of a "meh." Slow service, very long wait time for the food (sushi) and they were not even busy when we were there at 7 p.m. Going to try some new places, but will come back again one day. As someone who is in the business, PLEASE,PLEASE, PLEASE, train your staff better! Teach them to communicate to us patrons when the food is going to take more than 30 minutes. Make sure they are smiling and checking in on us. Nothing worse than being left alone for long periods of time to wonder when and if our food is going to come out.
