   My experience was good, the music and service was 10/10. That food blows my mind and I will definitely go back .

   We had dinner on a Sunday night. The place is very nice, and they have entertainment while you eat. The food and service were good. We had the suya beef, jollof rice, peppered turkey and the burger and fries. The score on ambiance reflects the availability of hookah in the restaurant.

   Ambiance was amazing. Performances were top notch.My friends and I ordered oxtails, which weren't as favorable or tender as we hoped for.

   Food was great! Sadly they didn’t have oxtail or lamb chops available which limited my options on what I wanted to try. But the jerk chicken was good and I was told the salmon was also good! Also online it forces you to choose seating but does not show you where that seating will be, when we arrived and asked for better seating we were told no! The seating should be shown when booking so that people can book correctly especially if you cannot make changes upon arrival.

   I’ll give a pass as they just opened but the kitchen has to get their act together. We waited had a 6pm reservation. Food was served at 8:50pm. Most of the party order the Snapper. After waiting about 30 minutes for the meal, we were told the snapper would take an additional hour. Then the manager said, Nah, it’ll be 10 minutes. It was another 40 minutes. Now, the food was delicious but the Kitchen staff has to get it together.

   When I dine, I always seek out the same 5 things. What is the atmosphere, what is the ambiance, how is the food, how is the service, and would I tip more even if there’s gratuity embedded in the bill? Native checked off all of these and more. If you’re looking for a beautiful evening out-and I mean beautiful in the literal and figurative – then look no further than here. It is a more upscale version of its sister restaurant, Lagos Lounge, as it is owned by the same owners. However, it oozes of a more elegant vibe. Recommend sitting in the lounge area versus the stage for neck craning comfort and sumptuous seating when enjoying the live entertainment. Loved every minute of it. Dress code is strict, but believe the owners were being generous on this evening by allowing some parties to enter, including my own to enter. These days, even CEOs wear sneakers, so perhaps this particular ruling can be up for consideration. Overall, this is an establishment I highly recommend and shall revisit, and truly excited to bring more groups of friends into a world that does exist, one of great vibes, opulence and pride for African culture.

    Long wait for drinks. A lot of the drinks on the menu wasn’t available. The restaurant wasn’t even crowded.
