   Absolutely delightful dinner at Narcisse. The restaurant is so charming and cozy. The scallops with cauliflower purée were simply amazing, and the banana bread pudding was delicious. My server Carlos was friendly and attentive, and made sure the my experience was perfect. I could overhear others raving about their meals, too. Perfect addition to an area with limited options.

   My mother, family friend, and I went here for dinner before attending a play. Our reservation was for 5:15pm. We were promptly greeted by the hostess/ waitress and seated. There was only one other diner there because they had just opened. The hostess/waitress was friendly and attentive. Our drink orders were taken and a minuscule portion of bread was brought out. Each of us got a piece of bread and a breadstick. The breadsticks were actually homemade and very good. We then ordered our entrees. I felt my portion of salmon was tasty but very small. My mother had the scallops which was just enough for her. Our friend had the steak and found it quite filling. I ordered dessert. I had the apple tart which was very disappointing. I asked for it to be well heated and it came out only slightly warm. It was on what appeared to be phyllo dough. I was expecting a sturdier crust. The ice cream made it soggy. It just wasn’t to my taste. None of my concerns were “deal breakers”! I’d just need to order different items to test out the menu a little more. I’d definitely return because it was a very pleasant dining experience!

   Nice place and food was good, but way overpriced. Service was very bad. Food took a long time to come out even though the place wasn’t that crowded. Had to ask for water multiple times. We ordered dessert and waited for about 30 minutes only to be told the waiter forgot to put it in. Waiter left without even telling us and leaving us to be treated by another waitress. Would not recommend going here.

   Lovely spot to meet friends for brunch. The avocado toast was delicious and the bloody mary had just the right amount of spiciness. Carlos was charming and inviting. We will have to try it again for dinner soon.

   Wonderful lunch at Narcisse. Excellent food in a lovely space plus excellent service. Just what the neighborhood needed. I hope that everyone will discover this little gem.

   A quiet place by the 59th Street Bridge. A relaxed atmosphere with attentive service and varied, if not many, menus choices.

    We always enjoy Narcisse when in the city. Carlos is an excellent host, server, and bartender extraordinaire, food is always superb, and icing on the cake is the approval of the alcohol license! Will be back again soon.
