This was our second dinner there since it opened. The food is excellent in execution and choices. The weather was beautiful and allow us to sit at the patio. Very enjoyable. Inside it gets louder as the evening gets going. My husband had the Caesar salad again, because it is very good. I had a very good take on a Caprese salad with bits of lobster and was pleasantly surprised at how good the tomatoes were for so early in the year. We both had halibut, which was the off the menu special, which I can never pass up. Tasty! Pan seared to perfection sitting on a bed of sauce like mashed potatoes. my Olio martini was excellent, but Belvedere vodka is my favorite. I would suggest offering a dark beer, or a brown ale type as a selection to round out the beer options. Never make it to dessert, unfortunately, because the portions are large. To us a very enjoyable place. Delightful serving staff.

After looking for a last-minute Easter Day brunch reservation for two friends and me, I found Napoli Kirkwood on OpenTable. Though I’ve long loved Café Napoli in Clayton—a fan for more than 25 years—I’d never been to this location. Now I can’t wait to return. From start to finish, it was a phenomenal meal. We began with salads and oysters—I had the house Napoli Salad (mixed greens, hearts of palm, artichokes, onion and Parmigiano), while my friends went for the Chopped Salad with salami, mozzarella, chickpeas, cucumbers, tomatoes, pepperoncini and olives. All were fresh, vibrant and generously portioned. The oysters were equally delicious. For the main course, I chose the double-bone pork chop served over mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts—tender, moist, and deeply flavorful. I even ate the meat off the bone (and I wasn’t alone: a woman at the next table said she followed my lead and was glad she did!). One friend had the 8oz prime filet with au poivre, and the other ordered the linguine with shrimp and scallops. Both entrées disappeared almost instantly—each of us fully enjoying every bite. At one point, I even considered ordering cacio e pepe off-menu. Our wonderful server, Alison, immediately checked with the chef, who kindly offered to make it and let me choose my noodles. But I’m so glad I stuck with the pork chop—it was everything I didn’t know I needed. For dessert, my friends shared a slice of creamy cheesecake with a fun, decadent crust, and I had a small scoop of strawberry sorbet that was so good I wished I had ordered more. And when it came time to pack up my leftovers, I asked if they could include just a little more of that incredible sauce. Not only did they do that, but they also added extra mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts—an unexpected and generous gesture. Flawless food, fantastic service and a welcoming atmosphere. A time was had. I’ll absolutely be back. I completely forgot to take photos for this post. That’s my only regret!

When we arrived The front of the house seemed a bit chaotic. We ordered cocktails, which were very, very good and oysters. The oysters were very small and one of them should not have been served. We all ordered pasta which were all very good however, the salmon pasta really had no salmon in it. All in all it was an enjoyable dinner and plan to go back again.

Thank you so much for your 4-star review! We appreciate it very much! Please accept our apologies for the one oyster that was unacceptable. We do get in different oysters from all over the world, so sizes do sometimes vary, but we try and catch the ones that are simply too small or don't pass our visual and odor test. Sometimes one may slip through the cracks. Please let us know if we can ever replace one for you. Regarding the salmon, it is typically weighed before being added so we will definitely figure out why yours may have been short. If you'd be kind enough to contact our manager, Charlie, we'd be happy to send you a gift card to thank you for this feedback and get you started on you next visit. Buon Appitito!

We had to wait 20 minutes past our reservation as they "forgot" about us, then DInner took forever. It was a long and late dinner.... Apps were great, the pasta with claims was eh, the Shrimp Entree was great. Will come back:)

Saturday lunch was delicious! We had four people (two from Boulder, Colorado) and we decided to share 6 appetizers, two salads, and sampled one order of the pasta special, Ethan again was an attentive and helpful server.
