What an amazing restaurant. We felt like we were back in Italy. Arincini- crispy- cheesy- meaty rice balls with a great dipping sauce. Killer Margherita pizza- great cheese and sauce(crust to die for). Homemade pasta papparadlle with sausage-mushroom- truffle- memorable. Caesar salad that again was the most authentic. There is so much passion in this food! The value of the price to the quality of the food is unmatched. Highly recommended!

We left overstimulated and underwhelmed. Felt like a down-home Italian American kitchen trying to serve a modern Cal-Italian restaurant. Our pizza looked beautiful but was unfortunately soggy and had one note - salty. Gnocchi was ok - a punchy and salty red sauce with some cubes of rubbery mozzarella on top - no better than throwing a jar of sauce on top of a package of gnocchi from the supermarket. Music was loud and seemed to be going for a clubby vibe. I'm probably giving it worse than it deserves - but the overwhelmingly glowing reviews set our expectations high and it really didn't live up to the hype. San Francisco and the Bay has so many better options.

Food was amazing! Service was warm and friendly. Only downside is that the front door was open and dining inside was REALLY cold. (I think the heat from the pizza oven was drawing the cold air in - so it was extra cold). The few minutes the door was closed - you could feel how cozy warm it could be though. I would still go back because all the dishes we had (pizza,salad,pasta), especially the pizza was that good!!!

We went there with our daughter as she said their gf pasta was great. The food was very good and the gf pasta was excellent, Their meatballs were tasty but a bit dense. Service was terrific and their lentil soup was some of the best I have ever tasted.

The holiday music was almost painfully loud, and it was difficult to hear my dinner companion. They have a real sense of fun and playfulness, and we were welcomed nicely by the staff. Soggy pizza.
