   I’m not sure why this place is one Open Table except for the advertisement. This is an open seating/order at the counter place. It’s small. All other customers had to-go orders.

   I'm not a big BBQ girl but My Father's Barbeque totally blew me away. Amazing food and the nicest staff! I had pork ribs and mac & cheese to die for. And their corn bread with honey is out of this world! Strongly recommend!

   My wife and I were So disappointed with our dining experience. We ordered our food and requested sauce on the side. Took forever to get our food. Our food was drowned in sauce, meat unflavorful, no smoky flavor, brisket looked & tasted like pot roast. 😡 We will not be coming back. Can't believe how hard it is to find good BBQ in LA. Hated that Bludsoes in Compton closed. It was the only place that had BBQ on par with the BBQ spots we love in Houston.

   Authentic Tax BBQ. The brisket, rib tips, BBQ beans, black eye peas and cornbread were genuine downhome style. Southern comfort food at its finest. The food is good and plentiful. The service is friendly and helpful. Great find.

   The brisket sandwich is amazing!!!! The staff said they don't accept reservations at the location. A little misleading since I found them on OpenTable.

Savory, wood-smoked and lip tingling entrees like brisket, greens, beans, cornbread and so much more. The sweet spot of price and portion size is ideal! No lingering hunger for a snack following your meal; no groaning stomach from cleaning your plate; no left-overs created by too much food to justify a higher price. Perfection! This off the beaten path neighborhood gem is a must for anyone who likes good food and warm welcoming service.
