   Beautiful, quiet, elegant restaurant with a great menu. There were four of us -- all adults -- and we enjoyed every morsel. Appetizers of chili prawns and calamari. Salads. Scallop Linguini, Roast chicken, and lamb. Everyone raved. Our server was delightful and took such good care of us. Name was Gyro(?). Our friends had notified the restaurant that my husband and I were celebrating our anniversary. We were presented with a note signed by restaurant staff and all of us were treated to a glass of prosecco. Very classy. We have vowed to return.

   We really enjoyed our visit to Murrieta’s. The staff were attentive and went the extra mile to honor our anniversary celebration with a card and complimentary Prosecco! The food was delicious- my husband’s steak was done exactly the way he likes it, and the lamb was tender and flavourful. The ambience is well worth it in this historic building. We will go back, for sure!

   It’s been decades since I’ve been to this restaurant so I’d forgotten how great it was to sit under a huge skylight in a beautiful historic building. Although the selection for mains for vegetarians is a bit lacking, their salad was excellent, and the margarita pizza was tasty. My spouse enjoyed the pasta dish too.

   The ambience at Muriettas is wonderful! YYC dine was unbelievable value with good food.

    This was one of the worst possible experience ever. Food: absolutely horrible! We had the YYCEXP menu and 1st course (duck pancake) was super salty, second course (Wagyu burger) overdone, dry, tasteless the fries were old and cold, 3rd course (desert) never made it to the table on time. Service: we were not seat on the main area but the bar, despite making a reso. Took them too a good 10-15 min to even get water, the good came really late, and we were so late we had to leave without having desert. The prices on the wine menu and our bill were different by a few dollar like $16 vs $12 and the kind didn’t match the receipt; too late to even say anything cause we were running late to our show. Overall one of the worst experiences ever, for sure will not go back or recommend going there. Worst than bar food. Extremely disappointed.
