   Can't beat the location, out on the front porch. We shared several dishes and we enjoyed them all. The bartender also provided some tasty beverages.

   The food was good, but we were disappointed with the atmosphere for a "high end" restaurant. The furniture was not particularly nice and was well worn. It would been greatly improved if the table had a white tablecloth and a centerpiece. Also the service was mediocre. We had expected more from an expensive restaurant.

   Requested a secluded table oustside, away from human traffic, instead they put us next to the entrance. No apologies, just take or leave it attitude, not impressed by hostess. So we changed to sit indoors instead. A bit pricey but OK. Food very good. Service was excellent. Free vallet parking is a nice touch.

   Breakfast in the Farley Bar since Murray Circle is still closed for renovations. Nestor our waiter was great. The food was very flavorful. Service was outstanding.

   We love coming and taking people over after hiking the Headlands. The place, view and ambiance are always wonderful. The servers are great and friendly. The wine list by glass is good, if really expensive if you like big reds. BUT, the food has been really disappointing the last two times we visited. Last night I took my husband there for his birthday. We started with an okay, but unimaginative crab cake and a disappointing bourrata and charred courgettes. The courgettes had drowned in cheese and the green chile pesto was undetectable. The branzino was cooked perfectly but a citrusy sauce would have helped and the broccolini was almost not cooked and entirely bland. The most disappointing was the vegetable gratinee -- so spicy (and I love spicy things) that all you tasted was the spice. The pinot noir was the best part of the meal. One more thing - and I am only writing all this because I really would like to feel confident I can bring people over there for a good meal in the future -- on MY birthday in March, the dinner was similarly unmemorable, but one thing I do recall is that we were served chard as a side and it came with absolutely nothing -- just limp and w/o even a drop of olive oil. -- Maybe we are ordering the wrong things. I brought three friends over and two of them lucked out -- I think that was in May. We are both really big on cooking and get everything from Monterey Market in Berkeley. So we are somewhat spoiled. Stil - it would be great to have a dinner experience at MC that matches the beautiful surroundings. I will still recommend MC but with a warning about the inconsistent quality of the food.

   Great place for lunch. Enjoyed an balcony seat with view of the bay. Ordered the shrimp appetizer and was delighted with the six large and very fresh shrimp and cocktail sauce. For main entre selected the salmon, avocado, bacon, aioli plus sandwich. Scrumptious! Service was very attentive and gracious.

    Ordered sword fish with teriyaki glaze, over red rice. Fish delivered over red cabbage, then rice, no teriyaki, not a drop. Don't know what cook was thinking. Won't eat here again.
