   The seafood buffet they have every other Thursday is the best. Delicious food, good atmosphere and great service. The staff is very hospital and attentive.

   This was a Father's day brunch that turned into a potential work opportunity as he so pleasedhe wants them to cater his birthday next year! He is very picky about where he spends his time to eat &only likes buffet style.

   I expected more,honestly. It definitely wasn't worth the money I paid but the food was okay. The waitress was very slow coming and going and we had to ask for condiments and forks. We had to order omelettes, crabcakes and waffles; 3 of the 4 omelettes were not what were ordered, 1 spoon-sized crabcake came out for each person and the waffles took forever coming out because they kept sticking. Note, it was a buffet style! Needless to say, we were very disappointed.

   I would never go here again. We booked for Father's Day and when we arrived nothing was ready, I couldn't even smell any food. The hostess stated they had attempted to call me at 8:30 but I had no missed calls and messages. Almost ruined Fathers Day.

   Great food...felt like I was family from the moment I walked in. Not only was the food amazing, the service was superb. I'm definitely going to make this my go to restaurant. I've never liked crab cakes until these melted in my mouth.

   Some friends and I went for their #comehome seafood buffet for $24.99. All of the food was delicious. The wait staff and owners were VERY hospitable and polite. They would even bring food to us from the buffet. Great food and great people.

   I was there for Sunday brunch (11-4). Arrived at 11. Was told they weren't ready yet and would be 10 minutes. We opted to leave and come back because there was musty smell in the air. Returned and still not ready. This was unacceptable to me. At 11:45 buffet was ready. If you advertise 11 brunch, should start at 11. They should have come in earlier to allow preparation time. I expected place to be more decorated and not as old looking.

   I follow this restaurant on Social Media, whenever I comment on their pictures someone always respond with a hashtag-#comeonhome. So, I decided it was time to give them a try. Very good place to eat. Lots of Food for $20. That includes the HUGE selection at the buffet and all you can eat Meats. This is the only restaurant that I really consider to be a REAL soul food restaurant in Richmond. Anyone that knows about cooking soul food and cooking from scratch, knows it takes time and a lot of love. They sell food that is really soul food. Food like grandma made back in the day. Food you cannot get in any other restaurant. I personally have never had anything that I didn't like. Come hungry and leave extra full. I will be back!

   We made reservations for Mother's Day Sunday Brunch and arrived on time, but still had to wait a while to be seated. We were told the restaurant overbooked for the day, so reservations were behind. The plates had a greasy film on them. The meats (besides the fried chicken) were impossible to chew, and the food selections were hit or miss. The day was just poorly planned. Our server took forever to bring us simple things like drinks and silverware. I expected better from a restaurant I've heard so much about.

    I would highly recommend this soul food restaurant to everyone. The food tastes just like my mom's cooking! Well done!
