   We love it in Morrison hotel. We always feel extremely welcomed & the staff are fantastic. We have 2 small children & they’ve always accommodated our needs.

   We received the afternoon tea as a xmas present. We were looking forward to it as we had done one a couple of weeks ago in another hotel. We got our order and that was the last week saw of staff, no checking in nothing. We asked for more tea and they filled the very large pot up again with tge same tbags, at 50euro a head i think an extra tbag wouldn't have broke the bank. The warm scones were delicious, good mix of breads & fillings. We didn't eat the cakes and asked for takeaway and were handed a brown paperback something a little nicer would have been better and generally staff would pack it up for the customer. We ordered cocktails which they forgot so had to reorder after half hour. Overall it paled in comparison to our last experience.

   Fillet steak was very poor quality, they missed off the potatoes and we had to wait ages for these, service was very poor and no one seemed to care. Very expensive for the food and service received. Presentation of the starter was nice, but main meals lacking in taste. And service was very poor, wouldn’t recommend this place.

   The Grill is quite small, so I'd suggest you book in advance. We selected 2 different fish starters, which were beautifully flavored , served prompt with a smile. Opting for the Jasper Steak menu as our mains, both the fillet and ribeye were cooked to perfection. Being 8oz steaks, we were not over faced with giant pieces of meat, allowing us to eat well but leave not feeling too full to move. Highly recommend this restaurant if you can plan in advance.

   We ordered the Gentleman's Tea, a welcome alternative to traditional tea that included more savory offerings and a delicious beer instead of tea/coffee. It was served with style and the service was exceptional.

   Dining in The Morrison Grill is consistently a pleasure for myself and friends.We keep returning there for the food , ambiance,and the efficient and friendly service led by Laura the assistant manager . A point to note is that staff do not rush you out in anticaption of a second sitting.

    Fabulous. Amazing food. The beef and Guinness stew was voted meal of the day by all 5 who attended but we loved everything. We ordered mains and desserts and that was more than enough food. I would suggest ordering some veg or salad to go with the steak as it only came with dauphinois potatoes. The staff were lovely and the facilities are very clean and modern. We will definitely return.
