I understand when in Vegas, the prices will be high, especially for an upper scale restaurant. But I have to say I was a wee bit shocked that one piece of sashimi or sushi started at $18. Per piece! I cannot say I would recommend eating here if sushi is your go to. They had many other things on the menu, that may have been in a better price range. The service was good. We opted for three rolls. One being the dragon roll for $49! One small bottle of sake everything split between two people. While it was a sufficient snack after seeing a show, I thought the price was a bit outrageous. If money is no object go for it.😁

I truly enjoyed my meal. The waitstaff was very attentive which is hard to find lately. Judy made some amazing suggestions. And seeing Morimoto in person was a great surprise.

Food is delicious! Portions are small so I should have gone with a salad in addition to the entree. The hamachi tacos as an appetizer was great. Go with four and not three to share as they are small.

Worth Every Penny We recently had an absolutely incredible dinner at Morimoto inside the MGM Grand. This place totally lived up to the hype — and then some. First off — the drinks. If you go, you *have* to get the cocktail with the dry ice (it comes in green or pink). It rolls up to the table literally smoking like a science experiment, and it tastes just as good as it looks. Super refreshing without being overly sweet — plus, it makes for a killer Instagram moment. For food, we started with the Wagyu Carpaccio which just melts in your mouth. Ridiculously good with this light yuzu soy sauce that gives it a bright, citrus kick. We also tried the whitefish carpaccio — equally amazing and super fresh, with a hot oil drizzle that brings the whole thing to life. Some of the other appetizers we like include the fresh oysters and the tar tar. But honestly, the star of the night might have been the table-side fried rice. We did the one with whitefish, and they bring out this super hot stone bowl and basically cook it in front of you. Crispy bits of rice, tender fish, garlic... just unreal. We also ordered a few other small plates — highly recommend the Hamachi Tacos (tiny but packed with flavor) and the Tuna Pizza (sounds weird, tastes awesome). Dessert was over-the-top in the best way. We shared the flaming chocolate dome — they literally light it on fire tableside and it melts down into this gooey chocolate-marshmallow situation. Total showstopper. Service was flawless the whole night. Super friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely seemed excited about the food. They made great recommendations without being pushy. Overall, Morimoto isn’t cheap — but for a Vegas splurge meal, it checks every box. Creative drinks, unforgettable food, and that perfect blend of upscale but fun. Would 100% go back.

My wife ordered king crab as an appetizer that was 4 pieces that were 3 inches long each for $100.00. Certainly not worth the money. I ordered oysters with foie gras and they too were just OK. They were the size of my thumb nail and were about $10.00 each. Again not worth the money. I had a Atlantic lobster that was cut in half but very difficult to eat, especially with sauce and the size of plate that it was put on. I asked the server if they could take the meat out because there just wasn’t space on our table and they refused because I took The meal and they could not take it back into the kitchen. I paid $120 for this meal and again very disappointed. The vegetables underneath were undercooked and cold and again not impressed. I have eaten here previously but will now second guess our next visit! Service was slow and occasional to say the least

Chirashi lacked variety for the price and mackerel was not the freshest. Snapper sushi was good but very pricy. Overall not good quality for its price. Nice ambiance. Service was attentive
