About this restaurant

  • Neighborhood gem
  • Innovative
  • Romantic
Morgans Fish House is a casually upscale restaurant in a contemporary space that is warm & sophisticated. The newly transformed bar is a great place to meet for a drink or have a bite to eat, and the spacious dining room is comfortable & inviting.

Our Chef will be preparing the freshest seafood in a classic style as well as a style that is all his own. For those who are not seafood lovers don't worry, there’s more. How about a delicious Filet Mignon, expertly prepared by our chef or Herb Roasted Chicken with magnificent Rosemary Garlic Pan Sauce.

If you are looking for a quick bite to eat during the week, or you are just in the mood for something lighter, the chef has prepared an entire section on the menu devoted to just that. Enjoy the chopped salad, Ahi Tuna Wrap or Maine lobster roll, just to name a few.

Always consistent and the modest wine corkage makes it doubly delightful. Buck a shuck oysters on Tuesday also a strong attraction.

I would call the food inspector on this place ASAP. As we were finishing our meal, a rat ran towards us under our table. My husband and I jumped from our seats in terror with our feet off the floor on to the booths. When the waiter heard me scream he asked if everything was ok... when I told him that a rat had ran underneath our table he had no emotion, no concern and had no sense of urgency to bring the manager over- he basically shrugged it off. We were unable to put our feet down because the creature was hiding beneath our table. As we were flagging for help and for someone to bring the check, we had to painfully wait another 10 minutes for the manager to finally come to “apologize” she said that the back kitchen door must’ve been left open and that’s how the rat got in. They were slow to present our bill, which we quickly paid and ran out. I will never ever go back to this establishment again.

The waiter should not lean on his leg when opening wine. It would be nice if the management trained the staff. He was very nice, it's not his fault it has not been trained. The desserts where tasteless. Sorry, I am in the industry. It's a great location

We had an appointment at7pm. We arrived on time. We did not receive our food until ten minutes to eight, which is the time they closed. My sons had steak, which was so bad we refused it. My dish had vegetables which were cold. My wife had shrimp which had no seasoning, and she loves shrimp. The waitress was very nice but the wait was too long for what we ordered and the quality of the food was very bad.

The service was pleasant The food was average. The lobster salad with avacado with very disappointing. Lettuce was old. My husband had a beef taco . He thought it lacked flavor. The hamburger was good. Too expensive for what we had No dessert. 2 proseccos and 2 bloody Mary’s. 1 soup 1 appetizer and 3 lunch entrees. Almost 190 .

Went to celebrate a graduation and it was a disappointing experience. Multiple menu items were described incorrectly and food allergies were not accommodated properly. We were seated in the back wine room but the waitress was also serving tables in the main dining room so service was bad. This was one of the worst dining experiences I have had in years.

I have been here three times and tried something different every time. I think I will keep coming back. The dollar oyster on Tuesdays is another attraction. Wine list is reasonable and not exorbitantly priced like some other restaurants. Nothing not to like. Maybe rotate the beer available on draft every now and then would make it more interesting.
