   We eat here several times a year. Great atmosphere. Excellent food. Eat at the bar or sit at tables . Steaks, chops , seafood , pasta, and very generous wine pours. Check out the very large Oysters on the half, fried or grilled. Enjoy.

   We ordered the "special" at Monterey Fish House which was an artichoke pasta with mussels, clams, prawns, fish and one scallop. My husband and I shared the dish and were not given the price when told of the "specials". We assumed, incorrectly, that this dish would be comparable to other dishes on the menu. The dish was $10 more than the most expensive item on their menu. Additionally, the seafood was sparse - there were 2 clams, 2 mussels, 2 prawns, 2 pieces of fish and 1 scallop that was cut in half for us to share. This feels like a real ripoff and I doubt we will return. If prices for "specials" are going to be this much out of line with the regular menu customers should be informed.
