   I went to Monarca for a date night with my husband. We were seating right away for our reservation and was told that we can stay only for two hours. After being seated, it took about 20 minutes to figure out who our server was as no one came to us. We ordered 2 appetizers and 2 main course - all 10/10. The other negative experience was that we were accidentally given someone else’s appetizer, and server was hard to find most of the time. We had to wave down other servers for assistance. By the time it was near our 2-hour seating limit, we skipped on the desserts we intended on getting as we spent a lot of time waiting for our server to be visible.

   It would have been a really good experience however staff kept rushing us out - my friends were still in the washroom when they came around and started insisting we pay the bill. Then it was my turn to go to the washroom and I probably took 5-6 mins, only to come back to find different people sitting at our table and my friends waiting outside in rain. Apparently 3 different people came by to usher them out - they had to vacate the table because another party was waiting. Also funny thing was lots of other tables were available. Good customer service would have been to seat the waiting party elsewhere until we were done which only would have been another 10 mins or so so we could finish our drinks. And just for reference our reservation was for 6 pm and we were ushered out at 820. We know tables are generally held for two hrs but we didn’t get our drinks till 645pm (we had ordered at 610pm) and we didn’t get our food till 720. The food was good and aesthetic was nice and vibe fun but customer service lacking.

   Terrible experience — Monarca is unprofessional and unreliable. I made a reservation at Monarca weeks in advance for a Saturday night. Just days before the reservation, I received a message from them stating that there was now a minimum spend requirement for all tables after 10 PM due to bottle service. This policy was never disclosed at the time of booking or listed on their website. Frustrated, I contacted management and after some back and forth, they agreed to waive the minimum spend and assured me my reservation would be honored as originally planned. I then Ubered 45 minutes to the restaurant, only to be told upon arrival that they were at capacity and could not accommodate us — even though we had a confirmed reservation and had cleared everything with management beforehand. The staff was unhelpful and dismissive, and the entire experience felt like a bait-and-switch. To be turned away at the door after planning the night, confirming with management, and making the trip was absolutely unacceptable. This place is a disorganized mess. They don’t honor their own policies, they change the terms after you book, and they clearly have no respect for their customers’ time. Avoid Monarca — it’s not worth the hassle

   Waitresses were dressed very inappropriately and where we were seated my husband kept on getting hit on his arm by the waitresses and waiters drawer for their table organizer or whatever it was that they use it for but it was quite annoying…. Also bathroom has an off setup aswell for men and women. But the place has a nice decor on the inside with the plants and everything but we would not go there again.

   Food was outstanding, had an agua Fresca cocktail would definitely recommend. All the staff was very friendly and made sure we were takin care of

   Si lo que quieres es comida mexicana, pero no quieres los platillos típicos, si no platillos un poco más complejos pero conservando la esencia mexicana, este es una excelente opción. Fui con una pareja de amigos irlandeses y mi esposa y disfrutamos mucho la comida, el lugar y un buen servicio. Súper recomendado!

    It’s a fun vibe. They had a dj playing great music. The drinks are strong. Well made and the food was also great. Is definitely go back again
