   It is always good food---special things. Not just meat and potatoes. It is howeve quite noisy when busy. Not for the HOH population or crowd

   I have heard about Mona Lisa's for sometime from friends who live in town. So I was excited to take my friends out for a birthday party when we were all in town. The excitement soon died from the moment we walked in the door. I have made reservations for 4 and we arrived on time. The table was not ready and there was some confusion over where they would put us. Finally got settled and waited about 15 minutes before anyone came to the table. No water or wait staff. Tables seated after us seemed to get service right away. When our waiter finally did arrive, we placed drink orders and tried to order appetizers but the two we wanted were out of stock. 7PM on Saturday and they are out of some items already?? The waiter got my drink order wrong twice so I returned it and I finally just settled on water. We placed our order hoping the food would be good. An hour later, our food still had not arrived and no sign of the waiter. The host disappeared for about 45 minutes and again table all around us were being served and there was a ton of wait staff. The restaurant was not super busy and there were a lot of open tables. When the food arrived, I was not impressed. I had the gnocchi which look amazing on the menu. My dish was luke warm and had no seasoning at all. Very bland and not appetizing. I ended up not eating it. Tried some of my friends food and also, no seasoning or taste. No one stopped by to inquire how the food was. When I got the bill, my drink was still on it and I had to ask the waiter to remove. The bill for 4 people was high which is no problem if the food is good. However, during our experience, the service and food were extremely poor quality. We finally just paid the bill and left.

   Excellent costa del sole paella with clams, scallops, prawns, calamari, chicken, chorizo over risotto...all great flavor with great service from Rachel. Will return.

   The margarita pizza was superb! We sat on the patio and enjoyed the wood fire and relaxed atmosphere. Would definitely eat here again.
