We ordered three different dishes: beef bourguignon, vegetarian ravioli, and the specialty of the night, chicken stuffed with herbs. They were universally delicious. We were all groaning at how good the food was and we ordered extra bread to sop up all the juices. I would skip the appetizer pate, though. I found it too hard, not smooth as I had expected. It was good, just not spectacular. As for the desserts, the La Gourmandise, three mini desserts, were thought to be a rousing success, but I found the bread pudding a little heavier than I would have liked (although the English creme that went with it was wonderful). Yes, it was NY expensive, but I would eat here again in a heartbeat.

Wonderful. Simple, excellent French bistro grub. Good modest priced wine list. Sensible portion size. Competent service. What's not to like? Only downside: bread is supermarket junk.

Quite inexpensive but the food just wasn't that great. Has ambiance of a converted coffee shop. Salad frisée was drenched in dressing.

The attitude was snooty, food took forever and then it was like they took it out of the freezer and threw it in the microwave. My wife had chicken Cordon Bleu and it was virtually devoid of cheese or any of the grand French sauce it should be completed with. My Boef Bourgogne was burned tasting and over salted. Then to top it all off and it was no intention on my part I accidentally shortchanged The cash I left which left an insignificant gratuity. One of the people came out and asked me why I did not leave a better tip! If I was not with my family and friend, and if I was less of a gentleman I would've said if the service was pretentious and the food was terrible.

A wonderful little neighborhood gem, constantly reliable cuisine and service. In warm weather, lovely to sit outdoors and enjoy a bite or a glass of wine. Absolutely worth a visit for casual, but good, food.

Food was okay, not great. Service was slow and inattentive even though the restaurant was not that busy. Wine was good but year listed on menu was not the year that arrived at the table....same price.
