   Wonderful service, very helpful waiter. Food was great and came out in a timely fashion.

   I love this restaurant and there are certain go-to plates that I always order, which never fail. This time my husband and I went a little adventurous and ordered some of the new seasonal entrees. The fried eggplant was incredible, but the prawns were overpriced (4 shrimp sized for $15), overcooked, didn't have much flavor, the chickpeas really didn't go with the prawns, I couldn't taste the garlic or the tomato. However, despite the prawns, we love, love the restaurant, the service is always great, ambience is fantastic, and they keep it decently priced.

   We love Mola. It was our third time and the experience has always been wonderful. We were greeted with a class of champagne (they actually read the Open Table reservation comments!) and staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Food came out quickly without feeling rushed and was delicious. That fried goat cheese- heaven. Love to have a neighborhood place that is reasonably priced but still feels special going out to eat there. Looking forward to next time!

   The cocktails (with vermouth and sherry as a focus) are terrific. The paella and croquetas can't be beat. On the whole, among my favorite neighborhood spots in DC - as well as a worthy destination for an always-lovely and delicious evening.

   The first thing they informed us was when they would need the table back for their next reservation. The restaurant was not busy and we ended up leaving well before the time, but it was not a great way to start the meal.

   Mola is a hidden gem in the DC dining world - the food is excellent, the atmosphere is pleasant; depending on who your server is it can go from very good to spotty at best

   The food was delicious. Small, intimate space, but did not feel too crowded. Great neighborhood spot for a date night.

   Waiter was so knowledgeable about menu, ingredients and wines. My only complaint was seating by hostess. We were told we could not have a particular requested table b/c it was needed for a larger group. Turns out 2 other couples ate at that same two-top. Never a larger group or table combined with others.

   Everything was wonderful; we had a wonderful evening with some very old and dear friends. We were seated quickly even though our whole party had not yet arrived, and when we explained two people would be late we weren't harassed about when they'd be there, etc., as often happens in restaurants. The wait staff was accommodating and knew the menu well. My only quibble is with the noise level; it was hard to hear one another from even two feet away until late in the evening, when the crowd thinned out (we closed the restaurant, and the staff patiently waited for us to stop gabbing!). But, overall, a terrific time and we'll highly recommend Mola to anyone who asks.

    The appetizers were the best part. The main courses were good, but be aware that they are on the small side. The desserts were neither authentic nor very good.
