15+ year lazy bachelor local that doesn't cook. I eat out, take out, or order delivery. Placed well over 50 delivery orders. Family owned and run by the founders son, Justin, who has only improved on the quality of ingredients (I have to check them due to a gluten allergy) and accessibility (use to not even deliver within the town). Even prior to developing my allergy a few years ago, Mofo's would reign king in concerns to Pizza. For plated meals, Pastas, Salads, Wine, or cost I could see arguments for Lanza's, Tomaato's, Azzara's, or Jiffy's. They aren't a sports bar like Rookies or on the beach like Whitecaps. And, last I checked, those places don't have bad pizza (except for you, Lanza's) nor does Mofo's have bad plates, Pastas, Salads, or Wine. What Mofo's does have is the best North-shore Pizza. Pizza that punches all the other Pizza in the face, and takes those Pizza's lunch money. Consistently tastier ingredients, more of your picked ingredients on top, and a large variety of ingredients to pick from (though they have rarely run out of certain things). They don't burn their stuff. They don't deliver it with toppings falling all on one side. They are also in my top three for unhealthy delicious appetizers. They are not thin crust, however. So if you want thin, probably looking at Tomaato's brick oven or Jiffy's. They've given me the wrong order or missed something a total of 5-6 times, funny enough 3 of those times were in a row. Justin or his managers fix problems. Their phone etiquette could use work, but, realistically; you're ordering small town Pizza over the phone, not dinner plans at the Ritz Carlton in Abu Dhabi. There is a very large possibility you will be speaking to a high school student with a part time job, and not a classically trained professional host or hostess.
