Set at the end of a tranquil tidal creek on the Salcombe estuary, the Millbrook Inn is a hidden haven for those who enjoy good food, great wine and a pint of local ale.

The Millbrook Inn has a long-standing reputation as one of Devon's best gastro pubs. We take great care to source the finest local ingredients from land and sea, including from our own farm, and we prepare them simply and with love.

Our home - the idyllic village of South Pool – is easy to reach from Kingsbridge, Dartmouth and Totnes. When the tide is right, it’s only a short boat trip from Salcombe.

Whether by our homely fire or our babbling brook, we look forward to welcoming you to the Millbrook Inn very soon.

On an ocean going ship, the ring of three bells traditionally signals 5.30pm. In the spirit of this grand seafaring tradition, the Millbrook Inn is offering its '3 Bells' set menu. Two courses, served from 5.30pm to 6.30pm, it's perfect for anyone who prefers to dine a little earlier in the evening. The set menu comprises a main course and a dessert and is priced at £22 per adult and £10 per child portion, with a third child eating free. Children must be under 12 and accompanied by 2 adults of the third one is free.

My wife & I returned for a relaxed Sunday lunch. The food & service were excellent & our only issue with the whole experience was that we ate too much great food! We will be back!

Such a cute little pub with lots of character and cosy snug areas…the service was amazing, friendly, very professional and knowledgeable about the menu and the freshly caught fish and seafood on the menu. We enjoyed a rich creamy parsnip soup to start with followed by the most amazing hake which was so fresh and delicious! Finally my husband finished the meal off with the best sticky toffee pudding he’s had in a long time! Highly recommend this gem of a pub!!

Really friendly. Monkfish served on a bed of samphire in delicious browned butter sauce with beautifully cooked mini jersey royals was one of best combinations of this delicious fish I’ve ever eaten. Top marks!

We experienced a special 3 course menu to celebrate bees and honey from fowlcombe farm.A lovely introduction and chat about the farm and the honey . Then 3 delicious courses all Incorporating honey .Fabulous food and a lovely evening. Thank you staff
